Aside from the purple costume (Which goes back to the comic strip)it's a nice movie. Not deep, or anything, but well done. Treat Williams does a great job as an easy-going villian, who has most of the best lines in the movie.

And the scenery is wonderful.

I'm just waiting until the movie is out on DVD here in the US. I can't wait. It's more that plain "anime". It's Jazz, blues, hip jive, and the sad feeling that your life may not make a difference in the end. It's as far away from the generic "anime" as you can get.
