Unfortunately "Plan 9 from outer Space" is believed to be the worst film of all times. But compared to this piece of sh**, Plan 9 from outer Space suddenly seems to be masterpiece of cinema. These 78 minutes were - definitely - the most horrible 78 minutes I have ever spent. Going to the dentist is fun compared to watching "Die Bettwurst", I would even go so far to say that spending the time at Guantanamo is more fun. Well maybe they use this movie for torturing the prisoners...

See there are people who claim that this is some kind of intellectual masterpiece, I've read up some highly dubious interpretations claiming this movie is a masterpiece of independent cinema, full of interesting metaphors of society. One of the greatest art-house films. That the idea to use actors who are absolutely unable to act is such a great idea.

But the border between an art-house film and complete utter bullsh** is very often quite narrow and in this particular case it is crossed.

Avoid this movie at all costs.

This Bond-Style is completely new. I've grown up with the Roger Moore's Movies and so the Bond Series was always a kind of comic put on cinema for me. But this movie changed my whole attitude towards the series. It finishes up with the comic style and puts the series in a complete new direction. It's kind of progressive for it's time - and of course most of the fans didn't like it. Such a film can only be made once and that's what it makes me a masterpiece and the best bond ever.

The atmosphere is very realistic and the funny or not-so-funny jokes of the 70's Bonds are missing. The situation is serious and Timothy Dalton is acting like that. That gives a depth to the typical one-dimensional shown character compared to the other movies. The film is violent and somehow disturbing. It shows that JB is still a human and not a superhero: He seeks for revenge, he feels messed up with everything and suddenly we can see that there are in fact some things which are of high importance in his life, that there are some important aims in his life he wants to achieve.

Another point which is completely different from all other Bond movies is the attitude towards women. He is faithful, he's coming back to his love; he is not cheating on her. Besides, for me, Carey Lowell is the cutest Babe which ever appeared in a Bond (ok, besides that Pussy Galore thing). She is not only nice but also very tough and that makes her the only women who can compete with him - and that is obviously very attractive for Bond himself.

All these things make License to Kill a serious movie and that is not what most of the fans gain for. But for me it's a very unique movie and that's why it's the best bond in the whole series...

The fiction seems to be perfect: Millions of TV-watchers experience the hunting of Bernhard Lotz, who as a candidate for a TV-Show is hunted seven days by a professional team of killers. Lotz is running to save his life - if he manages to survive the seven days he'll get one million DeutschMarks. What sounds like one of those cheap SciFi - Productions is produced in very realistic style. The airplay was 1970 - and some people could not decide whether it's fiction or reality. Some called the TV-Stations and complained about it, some asked to be the next candidate and some even asked if they could join the team of killers. The Author of this tv-drama has seen the future in a very realistic way: The breaks for tasteless advertising in the show, the boss of the private television station who does everything to boost the ratings, the talking about very intimate things with people on air etc. Nowadays people do the craziest things in those so called "reality shows" to get some money even do without their personal freedom and numerous human rights. Everything in this film which was fiction that time has become quite common today except of killing people - this makes the movie much more than one of those Hollywood stories, it's a document of time...

This is the german attempt to do a horror movie. Since the horror genre was very popular in the late ninety's (consider the scream series) they tried to copy the concept and changed the setting to a small village in the austrian alpes. First of all I think it's much too late for this. There are too much better horror movies. Everything in this movie is stereotype, a lonely village, some stupid cops etc... It's a bit boring, nothing new. It's just a film which was not necessary. The only plus is the good playing of the main actress (the nice and cute Valerie Niehaus) and that the film does not take itself too serious. Some funny scenes. And a unusual ending. I'll give 6/10. If you want some popcorn horror-cinema go out for the US Productions. They did it a lot better...

Damn, I love this movie. It's not only Pulp Fiction in German, it's more. I've seen this movie when it was played in Unna. I've played personally against Tus Holzwickende, the football club which is mentioned in the movie. This movie is a movie about the society, about the culture of the outskirts of the famous "Ruhrgebiet". I love Unna, i love those small cities around (Menden *g*) I know all those weed-smoking dudes and this film is a monument just created for us. A 10 of course.

I loved this movie. I loved it's imagery, I loved it's message. I think this movie's content can be put into one statement. It's about getting over yourself, doing something that you've never did before, taking a big risk - and becoming a lucky person, finding your destination in life. I think everybody has experienced such a situation in life before, what I mean is that you feel that your life needs changes, that you feel what you have to do in a certain situation, that you feel that it is just ONE step ahead and it would be easy to do it. But on the other hand it makes you scared, makes you unable to move or to speak. This is what everybody's problem is in the movie, these characters are all losers but in their heart they know that they can defeat all this. But they are unable to do this little step to find their luck. Their need a little help from outside. Amelie gives them some help. Amelie is a person that knows this decision, helps other people but runs away from her own problem. But all in all we knew that this step must be done by yourself, this is why Amelie succeeds. At the end she just did it. It was so easy just open the door, but it was so difficult for her. She needs the help of that old guy but all in all it's herself that opens the door. She knows that it's her turn, she knows that this is going to be a decision that's going to change her life but she does not run away, she does it. I hope you guys all out there no when this situation is reached and what you have to do... ;-)
