Wallykazam! (2014–2017)
9/10
Helped my son with phonics and reading
13 January 2016
My boys love it. My 4yo knew his letters and pronunciation, but we had trouble getting him to actually sound things out and put them together. One week of this show, and he started doing it in his own, first along with Wally, and now he can look at a word we point to in a random book or sign and he uses the same procedure and gets it quite often. My 3yo went from not caring to sounding out words too. As the parent, this is one show I don't mind having on all day...I find it amusing and creative myself.

I don't dislike any characters, like I do with other shows like Blaze or Tickety Tock. There is nothing to dislike about this show.

They're finally releasing them out on DVD!
9 February 2005
Yes! I'm so happy! I just got an e-mail from TvshowsonDVD.com that nickelodeon is planning on releasing multiple shows on DVD in a set called "the Rewind Collection" which includes Clarissa, Pete and Pete, salute your shorts, Are You Afraid Of the Dark and You Can't Do That On Television! Yes! The classics are coming. Everybody can once again enjoy the best TV shows that Nickelodeon got it's true beginning from! The First season of each of these shows are said to be released around May 17th. After all these years of begging for them to put these shows back on the air, we can get the next best thing...a better thing...we can buy them and enjoy them in our own homes! It's just such a relief that Nickelodeon is finally recognizing the enormous pleasure that these shows once brought everyone and will bring them again.

Summer Solstice (1981 TV Movie)
I love this movie
12 June 2004
I was house sitting for my aunt and uncle when I saw this movie on one of those HBO stations and I fell in love with it. I had missed the title and couldn't wait to get home to the internet and order it. But according to IMDb.com it's not for sale on DVD or tape. I'm very disappointed because I loved this movie so much.

Henry Fonda was one of the very best actors of his time and was until the very end...this movie shows it. The quality of the movie was excellent; the story was great, the actors chosen for their roles were fantastic, and the quality of the picture reminds me so much one of my other Henry Fonda favorites, On Golden Pond.

I was also disappointed to visit this webpage and only find one comment; It's a horrible thought to think that not many have seen this movie. It's a great movie that should be seen by everyone, and I truly hope that it will soon be released on tape or DVD so that the children and other generations of the future can enjoy it as much as I have.

Saved by the Bell (1989–1992)
hey hey hey now...it's memories!
4 September 2003
Saved By the Bell was one of the best, and only good shows, ever made for kids...and adults for that matter. Yea, they gave Slater a few lines that weren't the best, but he made up for that, he was hot. And yes, at the end, they never should have put in Tori. But up until Tori the show was great. It had lessons, it's comedy fit for children. It reflected off of things that children were going to face. This show is great for generations to come. I'm 18, i was only 4 when the show first came out. But I watched the reruns on TBS and some of the situations i saw in the show came up and every time they did, I was reminded of the show. I just bought them on DVD! I love this show. It brings back memories. Episodes are based on true high school situations. Social, mental, and physical. Shows like these are great. It's based on true life...not the damn Cleavers!

Hey Dude (1989–1991)
i remember this show
5 August 2003
gosh, i'm only 18 and i'm already acting like i'm a senior..."remember when...?" But I remember how much i used to love this show when i was younger. This one and Salute your shorts. I remember with my tiny tv in my bedroom, on Saturdays i made sure that i had my dinner and enough snacks to last me through both shows so that i didn't miss a second! I think these were two of the best shows that Nick had. But the stuff today for kids is just ridiculous. Nothing like what we had, with all of the 'lessons' and the true acceptable comedy in them.
