Jackass: The Movie (2002)
It is so stupid, AND I JUST LOVE IT!!!
This movie isn't meant to make you laugh at a normal comedy movie, but just to laugh at idiots such as the Jackass gang doing the stupidest things imaginable. It is so hilarious, that when I first watched it, I fell out of my seat about 6 times because of laughing so hard. This is really something to enjoy watching if you want to see a bunch of morons doing crazy stunts and pulling hilarious practical jokes on pedestrians and police officers and stuff, but some stuff might make you vomit. Such as one stunt "The Yellow Snowcone." There you go, enough said. And if you're a strait dude, I'd say, don't watch some of the stuff, because a lot of things in the movie are a little bit on the homo side.
But this is definitely something to watch when you need a good laugh.
Drake & Josh (2004)
Very entertaining for kids and young teens. For older teens, not really there
I loved this show when I first started watching it, because I was around 14 when I first saw it, and I thought it was what a teen comedy should be all about. But as I got older, the jokes started getting a little weird, unfunny, and kind of corny. But if you're at least 10-14, I'd recommend this show. But for people 16 and older, I don't because you will definitely think this is stupid. When I got older, I kind of understand how more less funny it got, and I have a feeling that when I get more older, I'm definitely going to think this is stupid, because I can see it now. But I've got to say, if you're around 10-14, you would probably like it, because I did. But sometimes when I watch this, I go, "Man, what happened to the old Nickelodeon shows that were good like, Doug, Ren and Stimpy, and Rocko's Modern Life? Bring old Nick back." Now, in my opinion, this show doesn't stand a chance against those three old Nick cartoons, or the shows that came on SNICK. But as I said, if you're young, I recommend it, if you want to watch a good young audience sitcom.
King of the Hill (1997)
King of the Hill, king of Texas
Probably my most favorite animated programs on FOX. Mike Judge is very creative. I love this show, because it's original, has good story lines, and the gags and jokes are pretty funny too. King of the Hill is what Texas is all about. Don't mess with Texas, don't mess with King of the Hill. This is just a regular show like any other show about a suburban family living in Texas, and have a normal life like everybody else's, well maybe sometimes. The show is also just like a regular show, except animated, and no laughing tracks in the background. The animation is very good too. My favorite character is Boomhauer, the blond hair dude with the black shirt that always stutters when he talks. Every time he talks, I can't resist laughing. It's just so funny the way he talks. This show is very good, creative, and original. I recommend it highly. If you hate it, you pretty much don't have a taste for anything, because there is not one thing to hate about this show.
Maximum Exposure (2000)
Beats all the other shows that are similar!
I love this show, because unlike other shows that are like it, this stands out as being more on the very entertaining side. The best thing about is Cam, the "Smart-Aleck Announcer Dude". The show shows people doing stupid things, accidents happening, bad weather, and ULTIMATE PAIN. Each episode has a title name such as "That's Gotta Hurt", "The World's Most Dumbest Guys", "Born to Lose", etc. That's another thing good about it is that each episode is about one topic, crashes, pain, stupidity. Other shows like Real TV just show random videos about different topics. Another good thing is the music. Unlike other shows that play suspenseful dramatic music, Max X stands out with a huge variety, such as dance music, crazy ass music, and wild killer guitar music. That's what I love most about Max X is that some of the clips have wild, awesome guitar rock music playing in the background. The thing also about Cam, the narrator, is that when it comes to stupidity, he makes fun of them, instead of being serious, and he sometimes makes fun of other races from different countries. Like in one, "He says when it comes to stunts, Belguins are losers." But no need to get offended. But when it comes to death, or someone getting killed, which isn't shown often in this show, Cam takes it more serious, but still has that surfer voice of his. And also when whatever's happening in the video, they sometimes replace it with cartoon like sound effects. So the best thing that you can do when you see that Max X is on, grab a bag of chips, sit back, and relax. Cause Max X has got you now!!
South Park (1997)
First 5 seasons are awesome, the rest, well....
I absolutely loved South Park when I was about 4 years younger than I am today. I still love it as much. But, in my opinion now, it's kind of going downhill, because all they are doing now is making fun of recent history, which in my opinion, is starting to get very old. When South Park first started, and when it amped up into it's 5th season, the episodes I thought were very brilliant, and normal. Most of them are hilarious, some have their disappointments, but most of it is very entertaining. When it first started, it was crappy animation, nothing but cheap cutouts of construction paper, but the gags were hysterical. But as the show gained popularity, and raised more money, the show was able to afford more advance animation. At least they kept the shows style the same, such as the eyes and expressions. During the eighth and tenth season, I got kind of disappointed, because they kept making episodes ripping off current events, which isn't wrong, but it is when you keep doing it. I liked it when Trey Parker and Matt Stone were making stories of their own, having to do nothing with events going on now. But now that's all they do, instead of just making up a story about an event they made up. They might have done it sometime around the eighth and tenth season, but I always see stuff on South Park the same as what I'm seeing on the news every week. But if your a true South Park fan, you might not care, which is fine with me. If you like it, then keeping doing so. But I recommend if you're buying the DVD sets for the show, buy all through season 5, I don't recommend 6 and through.
