A pitiful Spanish musical
20 February 2003
This is one of the worst Manuel Summers films, a title that it was made for his son, David Summers and the Hombres G. It is very difficult to make a great movie without good actors, but it is impossible make a movie without any actor. The plot is absolutely ridiculous, without a logical sense. For example, the love affair between David Summers and his girlfriend, Marta, or the boxing scenes in the concert... I don't recommend this film to anyone...

Leonor Watling is wonderful!!
15 March 2002
This is a very interesting and original film with two great actresses: Rosa Maria Sardà and Leonor Watling; Leonor is very pretty and make a great performance like a girl with a lot of problems. All the film is for laugh, for enjoy....Good. (8/10)

Not very good

This is a road/Spanish/film not very interesting and poorly directed. There are two great performances: Natalia Verbeke and Carmen Maura. The Eduardo Noriega's character is not credible and the plot not have much sense. 5,5/10.

Very good musical with four great artists!!!
7 March 2002
This is probably the best musical remake from the history of the cinema. Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong at the same film.....!!! The Cole Porter's music are sensational, better than the Berlin's music for White Christmas by Michael Curtiz.. My favorite songs are "Now has jazz", "Well, did you Evah?" and "True love", one of the best cinema songs.

The film is a great show, too, much better than the original film by George Cukor, -a great film, but a little tedious-. It's very good also, the Celeste Holm's performance.

AN INTERESTING MUSICAL COMEDY
6 March 2002
Road to Utopia is a very correct film, not a workmaster but a very interesting and funny film. It's the fifth Crosby film that I have seen and the first Road/Paramount/Crosby film that I have seen. The songs "Personality" and "Would you" by Dorothy Lamour were very good and Bing Crosby was a magician very strange but sensational!!. A fish talks, two bears talk... A mountain in Alaska is the mountain of the Paramount...

A film very incredible.....with a lot of surprises....

A good idea for bad actors
25 February 2002
This is a typical musical/adventure/Spanish musical for children. This film is the first performance in a film of Pilar López de Ayala, the winner of the Prize Goya for his performance in Juana la Loca:that's the most important... The other actors aren't very good and the film is a little tedious.
