This wonderful Peruvian film is an X-RAY of Latin America in the 21st century. The film functions as an "open-heart surgery" that reveals the continent's maladies and provides a diagnosis for its incurable cause: a political class with hollow Dubai-like-developer-mentality that has the power to affect and transform the psyche of many average Joes, convincing them that they too can be part of the "Church of Prosperity" - even if this means having to sell their own mother to the first bidder.
