Bones: The Partners in the Divorce (2012)
Great personal dynamic
One of my favourite episodes.
I really like that not everything is sunshine after Brennan's return home. The new dynamic between B&B feels realistic and the problems are shown with little gestures and great acting.
The case is also fitting to showcase the underlying issue that Booth has a different idea of a longterm relationship than Brennan has. He still wants marriage.
I love that at the end of the episode B&B talk about their problems and acknowledged that they still have issues, but are working on them. It's rare for tv shows to have couples talk with each other honestly about their feelings.
PS: I kinda loved the fighting scene: Brennan and Booth are a lot more passionate fighting with each other as a couple.
Castle: Nikki Heat (2011)
The funniest episode of Castle
After watching the entire series I can say for sure that this episode is the funniest ever and one of the best Castle episodes.
The case isn't really memorable to me but that's not a problem.
We've already learned in the last season that there will be a Nikki Heat movie. Now we get the chance to meet the actress which will play Nikki Heat.
And it's a hell of experience, Natalie is much smarter than we first thought. She analysis Becket and all the little things she does in minutes.
The episode really starts to get great by the time Natalie becomes Becket. It is kinda creepy but also fascinating.
I also love the "coffee in the morning" being taken by Natalie once again a great sign for the relationship status of Caskett.
The moment Natalie started to dress like Beckett could have been too much, but the reaction of everyone around her stopped the scene from being to silly and ridiculous.
I also think that Natalie having such a deep understanding of Beckett's and Castle's relationship helps Beckett coming to terms with her feelings in the long run and let's be honest the sex scene between Heat and Rook is verbal masturbation.
Overall an awesome episode.
Castle: Headhunters (2012)
A gem in it's own
Even if you don't really watch Castle, this episode you should not miss. This episode had me laughing so hard. Just reading all the amazing quotes again had me laughing out loud.
Seeing Castle working with an badass cop is an interesting concept in itself and the way the show handled it is amazing.
The reason for Castle to team up with Slaughter is that he has been hurt so badly by Becket's actions and this also brings some emotional depth to this episode.
The case seems not really promising at first, but as the minutes get by we learn that not everything is one-dimensional.
PS: I love that we got a comment on Castles writer vest.
