Across the Line (2000)
Great characters
I agree With the person who said it could've been great. I wish that reviewer would've said why because I agree but can't quite say why. With that being said, I personally enjoyed it and wish it had been longer.
I loved the main characters and wish their relationship had developed more. I loved Miranda's family and would've liked to have seen more of them. Miranda's brothers were so likable.
All the acting was well done. A couple guys got their just desserts!
I'm so glad I stumbled onto this film. Good job guys!!!
I'm not sure why my review won't "submit". It says too short but other reviewers were able to post just a couple words.
I will say that I'd love to see a follow-up movie. Maybe see the sheriff get reelected; maybe see a couple kids; maybe see that Miranda continued her education; and see what her brothers end of doing to be "free" and see how they support themselves.
Plane (2023)
I like anything with Gerard Butler
I enjoyed! A lot of the acting was good. Of course, I always enjoy Gerard Butler. I also really liked the co-pilot and the prisoner.
The plane issues and fixes were good.
I think my score was generous but fair. I'd have liked to know a bit more about the prisoner without giving out a spoiler alert.
Oh, and the money????? Huh? Who, why, etc! And the operator on the phone? Fire her! Sheesh! What a nitwit. But, it is only a movie!
Not sure I'd recommend to anyone but I enjoyed it.
Not much else to say. It appears my review is still too short. I keep adding and it still fails to submit. I might have to forego my summary.
The Lincoln Lawyer (2022)
Love!!!!
I can't believe a Season 3 has not yet been approved! I had to finish with Suits, which I loved, before I watched season 2 of Lincoln Lawyer. It went by so fast! I enjoy all the characters and the script writing. I don't usually like to get involved with anything other than a movie but so impressed with the series I've come across and watch. When too much time goes by, I do lose Interest. I won't on this one at all! If it gets renewed, same main characters are a must!!!
I guess I need more characters to submit my review so, hopefully this covers it.
Btw, lady who played Muck's mom is pretty darned good. She SHOULD be in a soap opera just as her character is. Haha!
The Banker (2020)
Excellent movie and acting.
I will never understand racism. So sad, demeaning, and unnecessary.
This movie doesn't throw it in your face like some movies do but still shows what has and still does go on today. Such an interesting part of history that I was unaware of. And so gutsy and clever for these men to do what they did. And brave. And smart!
I know Bernard Garrett's wife and ex-wife took legal action to shelve this movie. Their issues are their issues. His wife in the movie was not so much the issue in this movie. It was the partnership of the men. Of course, I do hope his wife at the time was as supportive as the character portrayed by Nia Long. She was such a nice addition to this film. As, of course, all the main characters. Perfectly chosen actors. Well directed movie.
I very much enjoyed this movie!!! I hope you do as well!
Blonde (2022)
Ana de Armis is worth watching this movie for
We all know Marilyn Monroe had a very troubled life. Really sad. The fact that this is portrayed to be a true story when, in fact, it is not, is not fair to the memory of Monroe. With that being said, the acting is really good and Ana de Armis is exceptional. She looks like Monroe and her voice is so similar. Amazing!!!
I had no idea she, presumably, found out who her father was. Such a shame she was abandoned by him.
I read that she was given up shortly after birth but movie shows she was about 7 or 8 years old. All in all, like so many, she didn't have a great beginning of a life.
I would never watch this movie again but appreciate the acting.
The Marksman (2021)
Liam Neeson as good as always!
I like Liam Neeson and Jacob Perez. I felt the overall review score number would be higher. I really enjoyed this movie! A lot of tears from me. I needed to find a movie I'd enjoy today. I don't Typically watch cartel-type movies. I only watched because of Nr. Neeson being in it. I think I've seen the boy, Miguel, played by Jacob Perez, but I can't remember what movies at top of my head. I really Enjoyed him.
The Negotiator (1998)
Kept me watching
I love Samuel L. Jackson and love his drama. I enjoyed This movie and the acting. It was long and I'm glad. You'll get better detailed info from other reviews.
Stay Close (2021)
I liked the characters and the suspense
I have To admit, other than liking the main characters, it took me a bit to get into this. However, I can understand since there were so many characters to get to know the ins and outs of their characters. So, now that I got hooked, the series has ended. Such is life!
Bears (2014)
Everyone should watch this, kids and adults
No movie plot to have to wonder if it would be good but just a natural story of bears in nature with the threats around them and the journey to get to food, specifically salmon. This documentary was so good and so well-done. Typical mama protecting her young. It was so sweet to see the love and gentleness of a mommy bear. I loved The videos while the credits were rolling! I highly Recommend!!!
Grand Hotel (2019)
Bring this back, please
I watched the movie, Land, with Robin Wright and Damien ?Birhil(?). I liked The actor and, when looking him up, I saw He was in Grand Hotel series. I realized That's where I recognized him from. Anyway, I like Him and I liked the series. I hadn't Kept up then realized it must've been cancelled and no resolve to the issues going on with that series. Disappointed.
Land (2021)
Great acting and movie
I'm just starting at the beginning, which I missed as well as the very end. Robin Wright was perfect for this role as she always is and the actor who played Miguel was so good. Actually, everyone was. It touched my soul. I might add more after watching all of it but had to comment now.
Dérapages (2020)
Useless banter
Too unbelievable. Lost my interest after he got his pregnant daughter to give him their money. Ridiculous and ridiculous I wasted my time!
I was Surprised at some of the high ratings and not surprised with the low ones!
22 July (2018)
WOW!
Unbelievable! So heartbreaking. And so brave. Such a sad occurrence for the victims, their families, their friends, and for this country. I appreciated the acting. This couldn't have been an easy task.
Reprisal (2018)
I liked!
I didn't realize Bruce Willis was in this movie. I enjoyed. It could've been better but, since not sure what to watch on a rainy Sunday, I chose this movie. I'd like to see another movie with Bruce Willis in it that I haven't seen before but, with reviews so low on the ratings, I'll check out more options at a later time.
I wasn't always sure what was going on so should've paused when I got sidetracked.
Roped (2020)
I enjoyed A lot
Look, not every movie is going to be a classic. I didn't Read any of the reviews but not highly rated. It was an easy watch and I really Enjoyed. Sometimes it's just nice to be chill and laid-back and just watch an easy-breezy movie. This was perfect for me at that moment. I'll watch those kinds of movies anytime. If I want To watch a classic-type movie, I'll do that when I can Give it the attention it deserves.
Ride (2018)
Love this movie!
You're not seeing a classic movie here but I really Enjoyed it...a lot! I'm not familiar with music of Ludacris but what a surprise. I'd watch any movie he'd be in. I hope he does more acting. His wife in movie was cast perfectly! Thanks for the enjoyment I had watching this movie. I believe It's based on a true story.
A California Christmas (2020)
I loved It
Nothing Christmasy about it. It was really good. Made me cry and I didn't Want to miss a thing. I'm assuming that the two leads are a married couple. They're cute. And I see she wrote this Hallmark'sh movie. Good job!!!
The Good Cop (2018)
Josh Groban an actor? Heck yes
Who would've thought?! Great team with Tony Danza. I would Love to see them do a movie together. Great matchup. Love the gal, Cora(?). Low-key and enjoyable. I read It was cancelled. Too bad! That's a recurring issue with series I get Hooked on.
Luke Bryan: My Dirt Road Diary (2021)
Amazing man!
Wow, what a story of love, loss, generosity, determination, etc. Loved this!
Making the Cut (2020)
Love watching the Runways!
I love Seeing the amazing talents of these designers. I'm almost at end of Season 1, 10th episode-Finale. Reality without intense drama; people supporting each other! I'm glad I found this show and seeing Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn again. Loved all the judges!

Scott & Bailey (2011)
Very easy to get addicted to the banter of the characters
I so enjoyed watching this series and so disappointed it was cancelled. I knew what to expect and first time I've watched a crime series. Very good!
The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005)
Interesting
I'm so confused. Watching on Crackle. Subtitles only when speaking English? I under English. I don't understand Spanish. And they showed subtitles for English-speaking tv talk that has nothing to do with movie. Same issue with movie Bordertown.
Anyway, I enjoy Timmy Lee Jones and I liked this movie. I only Wish I understood the dialogue better.
Bordertown (2007)
A must-see!
It doesn't matter if this is a big box office or a made-for-tv movie, it's a very important story. Government, it you want to do good in and NEAR our own country, help make these innocent workers safe and not have to live in fear of their lives. Dont't be greedy and don't take bribes. I'll leave it at that.
Only negative is conversations in Spanish with no subtitles and had to laugh when a subtitle saying "no" when I could Already understand that in Spanish. That was funny. The movie, however, not so funny. In fact, so sad!
Last Night (2014)
New twist on a ?love stiry
Not sure if I really Liked this enough to recommend to anyone but it was ok.
