The Callisto Protocol (2022)
Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order meets Dead Space
Having played through the game and experienced some weird stuff like rendering issues and floating objects, the game felt like a R-Rated version of Jedi Fallen Order. Both have the same engine; where the graphics and motion blur are even identical, forcing enemies into traps with a force-based mechanic (GRP in this case) and even a melee weapon as well. Though the Fallen Order does not cause the game to crash during exiting the stealth section. Limbs do not float around after being removed after beating an enemy (Then again human enemies cannot be dismembered compared to the biophagous enemies). But while it takes a bit longer to load in game textures, the camera does not randomly zoom out after a certain sequence (the bounty hunter sequence in my case), the combat has more variety in weaponry despite the lack of energy blades, and it does not feel like a soul's clone. While the game does have its issues, it is certainly a step up from the Fallen Order.
God Eater: Resurrection (2015)
Anime Monster Hunter
While it is similar to monster hunter in terms of combat and customization, it's story and party members make it stand out from the usual mix. Fighting monsters that resemble deities and demons such as Amaterasu and Venus can be a real challenge, especially on higher difficulties: so make sure to stack up on supplies, have good gear for the situation, and if possible have some online help. This porting also adds one last section of plot to round up the over arching story, making the final fight all the more worth it. Though the game can be repetitive at times with rehashes of certain enemy types like the Hannibal or Arda.
Saints Row (2022)
Different but still the same
When I first played this, I heard of the bugs and glitches and how bland it was. However, 4 days in at the time of this writing, I found that despite the attempt to modernize, it was still a saints game in spirit and mind. It took certain elements of each game and added a hint of just cause. Sure it's a little buggy, but it just adds to the havoc.
Normal British Series: A Grand Finale Indeed! (2022)
Excellent finale
The storyline was pretty good, the Brandon style holds it together, and everything was tied up in the end. Pretty good. It has some memorable moments and the ending was pretty wholesome in a twisted way.
Helluva Boss (2019)
Mixed bag
Animation is good and the music is decent. Though the writing can be wonky at times, and the jokes are hit and miss. I'll give it an A for representation.
