Love, Kennedy (2017)
Tissues please
I knew this movie was going to affect me. I passed it up, told myself no, went back and chose it. Oh my, brought back memories of My Silly Sally. My almost twin sister died at 19 of cancer. She was an angel on earth. And such a prankster, pulling her wig of in the middle of a conversation and laughing so hard! She, like Kennedy, led so many to Jesus, just by being herself. Wonderful movie. Sad and happy, depressing and uplifting. Makes me want to try to be a better person. It's a story, like so many others I've heard; God sends a baby to earthly parents to complete a mission. Two years (Judson, Eyes That See) Sally, 19, Kennedy 17 They are born, they teach us of God's love, they Radiate the love of Jesus, they leave us, hopefully with a better understanding of how fragile and precious and wonderful this life is. But also that there is something even more beautiful to live for. I AM glad I watched it. It will stay with me a long time.
The Crickets Dance (2020)
Beautiful story, Screenplay lacking
What a beautiful story of the horrible truths of the past, the beautiful truths of the past and a possibility of change. I'm afraid that the haters in this world and the ones that can't believe won't ever let us all rejoice in the 'Annabelle's' that should be. Made me cry.
The actors did great, with the script and screenplay they were given. Jamie Butler's performance was amazing. It seemed rushed and poorly directed, at times. Screenplay and director... same person. Might have been a budget issue? The cinematography was beautiful. Not a 10 star movie. But I LOVED it.
