Good Performance!
23 May 2002
This movie is pretty much weird, but the performances were well. Daniel Cerny who plays Eli did a well job. The movie deals with pure evil it seems like. The gore parts are rather weird as well and have no purpose, to me killing people and worshiping a harvest or corn is rather spooky. But since I've seen scary movies this one came out to be rather weird and not so much disturbing just really. I know I say weird a lot in this review, but some of the graphics were weird too. I'm surprised they made a whole bunch of sequels to Children Of The Corn based upon the Stephen King novel "Children Of The Corn".

Excellent Movie!
13 May 2002
Julia Roberts did an excellent job of Erin Brockovich which is true story about a woman trying to make a difference in the water-pollution that takes place in a certain town. Julia Roberts attitude toward sticking up for herself was so perfect that it made the movie funny in a way. I saw this on The Starz channel and it was really good for a movie based on a true story. I have to own this on DVD. Check it out though you won't be disappointed!

Awesome and Funny Movie!
8 May 2002
This movie I have to say is totally a lot better than Scary Movie. Although I would not recommend this film to everyone due to the language used in some scenes take caution to that. Theres some Crude Humor, but to me it's not offensive to me, it's more embarrassing to me and that's what makes movies good to me. Chris Evans(The Popular Jock) was my favorite character because he wasn't some stuck-up jerk. Some scenes made him like a little dumb, but that's what makes him a good character. Mia Kirshner (The Cruelest Girl) was another favorite because I liked Cruel Intentions and she did a good job imitating Sarah Michelle Gellar in this movie, it wasn't cheesy either. Anyways this movie is exactly like "She's All That" and has an edge of Ten Things I Hate About You, Cruel Intentions, Pretty In Pink and some others also Varsity Blues too. Just check it out, but I would recommend this movie more towards mature teens then younger teens, because this contains strong sexual content, but you're probably asking "so, doesn't all movies?" well a lot do, but this has a mix of Crude Humor so it will put some bad ideas in some heads. By the way this movie was almost rated NC-17, but they toned it down a bit. You make your own decision for yourself.

Devil in the Flesh (1998 Video)
Outstanding!
8 May 2002
This movie is a classic it's more a thriller than a horror flick. My other favorite classic as well as this movie is Heathers starring Winona Ryder check it out. Anyway, this movie is about a teenager Debbie Straind(Rose McGowan) who gets pushed over the edge when she get's emotionally torn apart and physically hurt by her very strict grandmother. This is how the story goes. Debbie's parents are somehow killed in a house fire that you see in the beginning of the movie. When she get's dropped off at her grandmothers. Things go out of control because the grandmother will not let Debbie do anything she wants. It seems as though her grandmother is a nutball christian 'cause of the crosses all over her house. Anyways just check this out, you have to check this movie out because Rose McGowan does a perfect job and does an outstanding performance.

The Dentist (1996)
Disturbing and Dark!
7 May 2002
I was flipping through some channels and came across a movie which looked familiar, The Dentist. I haven't seen this before, but after reading the reviews it said it had an edge of dark comedy and graphic violence. I was like why not so I started watching through it and it started getting creepier by the minute. The Dental Torture scenes are not pleasant and I feel sorry for the creators why they produced this movie as well. It's a little bit of garbage, but it's a nightmare to begin with. I don't know why people so creative would put some material like this on the market. It makes me sick actually. I don't think they should even had made a sequel if all the reviews were not well written out. It is much disturbing and the close-ups of the mutilation were completely gross. It's quite ashame, torture in the first place isn't normal, let alone oral torture. That's shocking and no good. It has an edge of black comedy to it, but I have to say I don't know why Corbin Bernsen took this role. If I was him I would have said "No!" They shouldn't have made this because their are dentist out there and it's disturbing to even watch close-ups of molars being ruined and such. Oh my gosh this was nothing, but nightmares to me. Brian Yunza made this to grapic in the first place. Even watching a little kid in here get cut open was so sad. Do not think about making a sequel. I think you've scared people enough. It even made people physically sick(vomiting) running out of the theaters when the started watching this I heard. Brian Yunza you did take a chance on this, but some advice I don't think making a third installment of this video would be such a good idea. This movie was incredibly disturbing let alone I was scared for all the actors who took part in this.
