The Fallout (2021)
Honest and Beautiful
I really loved the movie. I am not sure if I have seen a more realistic movie before because they were able to capture the different emotions before and after such a traumatic event; from different prospectives. The actors were all amazing!!! The movie isn't graphic at all which was refreshing. No shock value but gives you a beautifully sad cinematic outlook on whats become a frequent event here in America. I watched this just a week after the most recent Nashville shooting and the ending of this movie fits perfect with what's still the current situation of these violent horrific events not stopping. Much love to these producers and actors for putting together a beautiful moving film trying to bring awareness to not just mass shootings but what happens to the survivors after. 10/10 highly recommend!

Well..what a movie!
Brutal movie. It's been a while since I have watched a movie that had some surprising twists! When you first start watching you think you have it 100% figured out and might even wonder why the producers were making it so obvious. They wrap this movie up with a very bloody bow! The blood in this movie was extreme! I mean we all know Asian horror/thrillers don't hold back but I needed a happy show after this movie. No sexual scenes just brief talk of it. Gore and violence..more then severe. While the violence fit it still dragged on and on. If you don't mind brutal bloody violence with smashed in faces every other shot then give it till the end. They leave it off ready to make a second one possibly and it actually made entire sense. A few dumb characters and a few deaths were you are like come on you could have lived if you had just moved, but only a few so it didn't kill the movie. I rented and it wasn't dubbed in English but still worth the watch.
Midnight in the Switchgrass (2021)
Surprisingly Bad
I couldn't even get through the first half. It was that bad. The acting was so so so horrible you would of thought it was suppose to be a funny parody pretending to be serious. Think of a high school play and they tried a little bit because it was for a grade. Megan Fox is stunning of course and most all of us only heard of this movie because of this being her and MGK romance starter lol, but their first scene was just insanely forced. To the point I was surprised it just that bad. Wow. No "working girls" look like her so the fact she was under cover made it more of a eye roll.
The graphics/scenes were shot in a weird manner because they attempt to look extremely realistic like in a First 48 show; with a pinch of artistic imagery. Movies usually do good having that expensive high definition incredible graphics and while this movies didn't need much of that...it went the complete opposite. This movie looks like it was recorded on an iPhone; which fits though with the horrible acting I guess.

Watching in 2022 but Worth It
If you only read one line; watch this show! I would of rated higher but I am personally not a fan of "sappy"music especially the same ones in the background of most episodes... touching scenes (like eps 18 if you know you know :) ) had music playing killing the scene
Also the few episodes that had CGI parts were horrible and corny! It doesn't take away from the show and still worth a watch!
I wouldn't lie and I truly stopped watching the whole show and just watched for the love story. I'm not one for love stories nor soaps but this one reeled me in!! If your in a bad rela or single don't watch this because you wouldn't want to settle for anything less than their love haha!! I wouldn't watch another KDrama that's a love story because this took my heart for a ride!
Where the Crawdads Sing (2022)
Yes, 1000% worth the watch
Figured I would make the title cut right to the chase. A very good movie! However, the one SA scene while it is not very graphic and very short; more implies...it still will make people uncomfortable if unfortunately that has happened to you, a loved one, or just something your stomach/heart cannot handle.
The plot is unique and while it is from a best selling book, it's refreshing to watch a movie with a different plot. The way they laid out the events was unique. I fell in love with the character Kya and she makes you feel good.
I had to give 8 stars because I have a lot of questions. Maybe that is a sign of great writing because the end of the movie your brain can come up with different scenarios. I would definitely recommend it.
Underwater (2020)
Underwater Sy-Fy creature feature, Worth A Watch
This movie is not for those with bad anxiety. It definitely is intense in regards to the "journey" the characters take across the deep ocean bottom.
The movie comes out strong with barely five minutes before the action literately hits hard. I really appreciated that aspect because it was not a un-necessary background that takes forever to get to the plot of the movie. It's also worth mentioning the characters and their behaviors/reactions/conversations etc are top tier realistic. There was barely any "stupid" actions that you see in a lot of horror movies. They all had some type of science background (alluded in the beginning as to why they were all down in the deep ocean station) so their smarts didn't just fly out into the ocean when they needed to survive.
The movie is very dark in lighting with a lot of points of views being from their helmets so while realistic given their circumstances, makes it a drawback for movie watchers. You see the monsters but details are hard to see from the lightning and how quick it is. Spooky though and I do believe the creatures are "re-imaged" from the writings of Lovecraft.
You wouldn't at all feel like you wasted your time watching the movie and it's defiantly entertaining. Who doesn't enjoy a solid creature feature? Plus being how it seemed very real with that uncomfy feeling we truly don't know what's down deep in the ocean...makes for a great movie!
Loki (2021)
Annoying
I'm having trouble even finishing the first season because the Sylvie character is SO annoying, selfish, and honestly kills the show. The Loki we all know is awesome and thankfully they did not change him. The episodes/ story line seems all over the place at times... it isn't horrible horrible...honorable mention to the alligator, but no.

Creepy Mystery Worth The Watch
This show is worth a watch but it is a very very "slow burn" for the first few episodes. Towards the end it is just full throttle to the finish line answering all your questions and giving you that hope for the perfect happy ending. I see why it was not renewed for another season, it's fine how they left it really. However, the character Melody gets really stupid! Melody starts to almost ruin the show and some scenes your just like "omg she is the dumbest" but since it's at the end it doesn't ruin you wanting to finish the series.
This was advertised as a "horror" show but it's more just a bit scary (probably because it genuinely seemed SO real like we have all heard of the horror stories from real cults) but a damn good mystery!!! Creepy mystery show; 7/10 for the super slow burn and some dumb characters but you wouldn't be disappointed you watched it!
Black Water: Abyss (2020)
Worth A Watch
It is worth a watch. I do not know what these other "reviewers" were expecting but I thought it was pretty realistic plus an entertaining watch. The movie does take a minute to get going but it has a few good jump scares plus other parts give you that suspenseful feeling; even if it's "predicable". The story line with the "mistake" coming to light was unneeded...a very random back story. However, it happens to a lot of people so still falls under realistic to me. It is a pretty decent croc movie and besides being stupid to go into an unknown cave...even characters deaths aren't just "stupid" and made sense. The ending was just ok but at least doesn't leave you totally disappointed. The croc was realistic, it could of been real shots for all we know.

Decent Watch!
These reviews are too critical; chances are if you have come across this movie as a suggestion, you like creature features. The creature is actually scary looking such as in the cave. It's nice imagery and entertaining. Yes it's low budget poor acting blah blah blah but it's not some stupid creature feature, I recommend watching!
