Olivia Colman's character is so funny but they all are! Don't listen to negative critics, you'll die laughing! The songs are great and the characters are funny! I didn't like the 1971 Wonka film but this prequel actually makes me appreciate it more! The comedy doesn't flop, the action is nerve wracking (as it should be) and Chalamet's Wonka is one of the best characterizations of the zany choclatier yet! I literally left the theater dancing from the infectious joy! Plus, if you love the 2009 British sketch comedy Horrible Histories, you'll want to know that two of the actors from it have roles in here! As I mentioned previously, Olivia Colman was great (I'm a huge the Crown fan). In short (hah, Oompa Loompa) Wonka is a 10/10 comedy for all ages.

I get that most people don't like season 5 because it had the flaws. I won't go into detail here bc you can find many more. Some hate the non-historical aspects of the show. It's a historical drama, not a historical documentary, guys! Don't judge a book by its cover. The Crown is a mixture of historical fact with dramatic, spicy fiction. And for the most part, the acting is great, the cast is fine, and I don't hate season five as much as most others do. Some people do like it, and I'm ok with it. Everyone has their own opinion, so don't try to tell others that they're wrong because they aren't!
