The Call (II) (2013)
10/10
Absolutely Worth Watching!
15 July 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is a fast paced crime thriller told from the point of view of a 911 operator named Jordan (Halle Berry). One day, she takes a distress call from Casey (Abigail Breslin), a young girl abducted from a mall and from there, we are taken on this chilling, nerve-wracking ride of a film along with Casey in the trunk, as Jordan tries to locate her and help her over her phone.

I never watched this until today because I thought that this is just one of those films that will never be worth my money or time but I was dead wrong! The pacing of this awesome film are tight and exciting. I was at the edge of my seat the whole time from the start up until the end. To anyone who hasn't seen this yet, well take my word... YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS FILM!

10/10!

2 words... BIG Disappointment
1 July 2011
Warning: Spoilers
Goonies+E.T.+ Close Encounters + Raiders = Bullshit I felt violated while watching this garbage. Yes, I'm really angry because I wasted 112 minutes of my life. That's 112 minutes that I'll never get back ever again! Lesson learned, if Spielberg is the a producer, not the writer or director, don't watch the film! Especially if J. J. Abrams is the writer. He sucks as a writer I mean come on!! Everything is so predictable. There are no surprises on the way. Super 8 isn't as touching as ET, as puzzling as Close Encounters, or as thrilling as Raiders, or has heart, humor and sheer storytelling like Goonies, this is just a compilation of them and turned it into a rambling film. This will stand as one of the film year's biggest letdowns.

Final Fantasy XII (2006 Video Game)
1/10
Worst of all final fantasy games! Storyline and gameplay.. what a piece of crap!
9 November 2010
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, an RPG's main flame is its story… If you don't care about what's going on, there isn't much reason to play. The story starts off with a striking bang, the first 10 hours of the game are highly entertaining because of this, but soon after all of the main characters are in your party, the excitement ends. Most characters have poor reasons for being on their quest. At least half of the party has no real reason to be there at all. Ashe, the center of the story that keeps it moving, isn't a likable character at all, leaving the player spending 89% of the story trying to help her get her poorly-planned revenge to "save" the country that was taken from her.

This sort of story would probably come out a lot more interesting if the country she was trying to "save" seemed to be in danger. The ruler Ashe is attempting to overthrow seems to be a better ruler than she could ever be, and the people in Ashe's homeland seem happy even under "enemy" rule, which leads the player to wonder if there really is a point to her little revenge adventure. The only thing that I like about Ashe is that she's got half her ass hangin' out of her mini skirt! Superb job Square Enix!

Awful conversations further hinder the plot. Every line of story in the game has more crap than content. While such writing does fit the "fantasy" theme, it's often very difficult to understand what the characters are talking about. Though the characters' long-winded speeches sound quite pretty, their overall lack of content and coherency makes them very boring.

There's just nothing in the story to make the player want to smile. NPCs have nothing interesting to say, the plot is terrible, and the main characters (excluding Balthier, whose witty lines are quite entertaining) are dull and unresponsive.

Unfortunately, though, in Final Fantasy XII, the characters spend almost the entire game wandering around like silent unresponsive zombies, making no effort to interact with their environments.

Sheeesh! I can't believe that FF12 got 8.4 in here... CRAP CRAP CRAP!

-='What the hell was I thinking?'=-
22 June 2010
Warning: Spoilers
So this is the one many have said to rocked the world of the horror genre in 1980… What the hell was I thinking in watching this?

I've sat and completed the whole movie for 95 minutes and I felt violated… I kept pinching my hands just to stop myself from falling asleep…

Wow, horror movies of the 80's, in particular the low budgets ones, seemed to be a suck fest!

The movies seem to have the same basic plot. The movie starts off as a bunch of teenagers congregate simultaneously somewhere remote to celebrate, and break off into couples. One by one, a mysterious person kills them in some odd or strange way. Often there's a throwaway character or two who's obviously labeled as a bad person and they get killed first or whatever. Finally we get to the ones who weren't doing the nasty and they usually survive long enough to set up the sequel.

I've read a comment here that says the greatest slasher-star is born! Hmmmp…. greatest slasher-star is born my ass!!!

Everything is simply boring… Everything is simply predictable…

Come on!

I can't believe that the movie's World Wide Gross Revenue was $59,700,000.00 wth?! It's just full of "ch-ch-ch-ha-ha-ha" A few sex scenes + knife + slits throat + ch-ch-ch-ha-ha-ha + creepy old woman that looks like she's a bit late for her own funeral = What the hell was I thinking in watching this?

That pretty much sums up the whole movie!

Robin Hood (2010)
1/10
Grand Opening, An OK Ending But Snooze fest Middle!!! BOOOOOOO
19 May 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Robin Longstride is an archer in the Third Crusade. Following the death of Richard the Lionheart in battle, Robin and three other common soldiers attempt to return to their homeland, having spent a decade fighting abroad. Along the way, they came across an ambush of the King's guard; an English Knight with French lineage. The King of France had ordered Sir Godfrey to assassinate Richard. Having discovered the King is already slain Sir Godfrey is chased off by the arrival of Robin and his companions. Aiming to return to England safely and richer in pocket than they left it Robin and his men steal the armor of the slain Knights and head for the English ships on the coast under the guise of noblemen. Upon arrival in England, Robin is chosen to inform the Royal family of the King's death and witnesses the crowning of King John. The arrogant King John shows no remorse to his poor Kingdom and demands harsh taxes to be collected, sending Sir Godfrey off to the North with the task of raising revenue. Despite King John's jealousy, he asks Robin for his help in defeating the French and saving England. well, as for the rest of the movie, I kinda slept through it hehe... IT'S A SNOOZE FEST!

The movie was just too long, too Boring and missed the whole point of a Robin Hood story. This felt like an idiot war film that just happened to have the character Robin Hood in it. I really wanted to love this movie, I was so excited for it and was really rooting for it to knock all the other Robin Hood's out of the park, but it failed in a lot of ways.

Entertainment = 0.1% SNooze fest = 99.9%

Wesker in RE5 = Neo(Matrix)? What's next? Optic blast? Hame hame wave?
8 February 2010
Warning: Spoilers
Resident Evil 5 is mired in poor design decisions that drag down the experience and render single-player campaign a tedious exercise in working around the game. It's frustrating to see a game that I so looked forward to playing and carried with it such potential, sabotage itself in so many ways. I mean, wtf is with Wesker? He can do the Instant transmission of Goku? He's got superhuman strength and speed! Whoa, and yet Cris and Sheva (only got normal strength and speed, and got a few guns and handful of bullets) manages to kill him... duh, Wesker can break Cris and Sheva's necks with ease.. That's kindda dumb.. I love the traditional gameplay and storyline of Resident Evil, but RE5 is really ridiculous. The enemies(Not the traditional zombies) can use guns, knives and whatever artillery they can find. Holy crap! Please Oh PLease wake me up from this nightmare... Oh and the Co-op.. wtf?!!! Even if you're really good at dodging using Cris, the idiot Sheva will always get hurt(Or even die)... I mean, I stayed in Chapter 6-3 for several minutes because Sheva always gets killed by Bugs(Reapers) that can do an instant kill. WTF?!!!

All in All: What a Let down..

Bring back the old traditional storyline and gameplay of Resident evil(Even the typewriters for saving)! Oh, Las Plagas and Uroboros Virus? WTF?!

-='Action packed boredom to the core'=-
14 February 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I am a fan of Jason Statham, but this movie makes me wanna return in time and not watch this..

Well, boring fight scene + easy-to-get-plot = crap and not worth seeing.

If it weren't for somewhat action fight scenes, this movie wouldn't be worth the time you spend in watching it. There is almost no plot, no acting worth noting, and everything are poor at best.

It's tough to take this movie seriously, but give it a view for the fight scenes, that's all there is to it.

This movie have interesting idea, but very bad plot and down the drain performance.

Word of advice, if you're a hardcore action packed fan, don't take a chance in seeing this.. Everything is predictable here so there's really no thrill in watching a movie that you can guess what'll happen in the end, right?

OK for a Prequel...
13 February 2009
Warning: Spoilers
I just wanna say that this is one fine prequel.. Although, they could have done better fight scenes.. Especially Lucian's fight with Viktor. It didn't have much of a spark in it.. Within moments, it's finished without any satisfying result. Well, for me. (^^,) Well, on with comment..

Bill Nighy is so awesome in bringing the character, Victor, to existence once again. And so is Michael Sheen who brought Lucian back to life again. Rhona Mitra is superb, beautiful and "HOT" as she takes the character, Sonja, Viktor's beloved daughter. Kevin Grevioux returns as Raze, as does Steven Mackintosh as Tannis. Both are given considerably more to do this time and both are welcome familiar faces and characters. The single omitted character was Kraven, a slight dissatisfaction, but not one that discolors the film.

There isn't a great deal to state here other than getting the full back-story of the prohibited love between Lucian and Sonja, which eventually leads to the Lycans's war against the vampires. Sheen and Mitra have an incredible chemistry and anyone knowing their love story on screen, is to anticipate fatal outcome.

Fans of Underworld won't be saddened here. I wish that the next movie will get back up with Selena and Michael now that the origin of the story has been fully told.

Well, all in all, one fine prequel

One of the few Filipino movies that I really love
23 January 2009
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, the plots and story lines of our movies are mostly taken from other foreign movies.

The movie makers just change and bend them a little just to make it slightly different.

They barely make something original.

But this one, wow, I never knew that this movie will hit the spot..

I've seen so many romantic movies but this one stands as one of the best.

Well, that's all I have to say for this movie..

Warning: Spoilers
Well, well, where should I start? My best friend's girl is uproaringly HILARIOUS. There are hardly any movies this humorous in this day and age.

Well, initially, the first few minutes of this film had already made me laughing my a** off.

I mean, the way Dane acts like a total a**hole.

Hehe, I thought this movie would just be some mindless teenybopper flick. I almost turned it off. Happy I didn't.

This movie is a really something. If you're one of those a**wipes who think that they have really high standards and nothing ever sums up their expectations, then this movie is not for you… This movie was intended for humans and not freaky dicky oafs.

Well, if you haven't seen this yet then you better see it cuz this is one movie that you shouldn't miss… Don't look at the comments here if I were you, Watch this movie and judge it. Cuz you'll never know.

This might just be the movie that'll turn around your day… (",)

Warning: Spoilers
Well, I'm a huge JB fan (",) so this movie is a must-see for me.

Kung Fu Panda have splatters of children and adult comedy, done by the great Jack black, who fit so well with Po, the cuddly panda.

The landscape is breathtaking. The thing that most surprised me was all the heart put into it.

On the previews they are targeting mostly youths and younger audiences with their humor, but the thing that I found sweetest of all is the moral.

The moral is very touching and sweet.

Well, that's all folks. Just watch the movie and see for yourself.

Prepare for awesomeness!!!

WALL·E (2008)
10/10
-='Robotically Romantic'=-
26 August 2008
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, I thought that this is just another movie that will make you sit for hours and take pleasure in watching a rundown and humorless movie. Well, I'm dead wrong. This movie is really cool, romantic and fun. WALL-E offers a perfect blend of comedy, action, romance and suspense. It's a perfect story! Here's a little synopsis: WALL-E is a robot left on Earth to sanitize it up while the human race waits in space. In spite of being a machine, however, WALL-E has urbanized a sense of awareness - he is curious and naive as a child. Of course, being what seems like the only operational robot left, he also longs for companionship (...someone besides his pet, cockroach).

That's where EVE comes in. She's a robot probe sent from the humans in space to check if the Earth can sustain life again. Once WALL-E sees EVE, he becomes love-struck and will literally follow her anywhere on Earth... or even space.

One can sympathize with WALL-E, as he has been alone for 700 years with no one to bone… err… talk to. He's toiling away at work with nothing but the comforts of his makeshift home to give him some small pleasures and distractions in life (although his morning sluggishness is due to his depleted power, we can't help but relate with those mornings WALL-E finds hard to get out of bed). When he sees the sleek, powerful EVE, it's quite understandable that he is captivated by her. Well, that's all I'm going to say. Just watch it for yourself and let the movie speak for itself (",)

-='Annoying'=-, one word that says it all...

Alvin and The Chipmunks pretty much sticks a katana in the throat of the concept of a normal reality... In simpler terms, it's completely designed to be un-f*ck*ng-believable.

The toilet humor's are drafty!!!! Meaning, it stinks! I mean duh, it really does! Shrek the third is waaay better than this!!! Well, anyways, the film started off pretty damn good, and they did a great job in modernizing it, but something went seriously wrong the moment they sang the Witchdoctor song... Cute at first but then just became nauseating. The acting deteriorated, the jokes became lame, the dialogues became childish and the movie turned from bad to worse.

All in all, well, you get my drift right?!

So Close...
3 March 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Yo, yo, yo!!! I haven't had the chance to see this in the theaters so I just bought myself a DVD. First of all, I was really dragged by the trailer and I was really really looking forward to see this. But after my friends saw this movie, they told me that this movie sucks in a really bad way... They told me that the trailers were really eye catchers. The jokes and humors were like 30 years ago and stuffs like that. So that's enough reasons not to see it in theaters so that I won't regret about it afterwards...

But my regret is, I shouldn't have let it get to me. I should have seen this in the theatres ages ago... If only I've let the movie speak for itself rather than listen to those who doesn't appreciate good quality movies... Well, personally, my friends' view in movies: If they don't see any tits and ass, it's worthless and pointless to watch..

Well, OK, on with my comment... This movie is great for kids and for adults as well! This is a real family movie! OK, this movie starts off in the wonderful kingdom of Andalasia. We have the beautiful maiden, Giselle, an angelic woman with a heart of gold. She dreams of the day when she would receive True Love's Kiss. Fortunately, convenient Disney Destiny thrusts her into the arms of the handsome and dashing Prince Edward... and the happy couple are engaged about ten seconds later. All seems well in Andalasia, until Giselle was pushed down into a waterfall by Edward's own mother. Giselle was sent into a horrible, dark place where no one lives happily ever after. That's right. New York City.

I can go on with this but that is a little surprise I'll leave for those who haven't seen this yet!!!! My advice, don't listen to anybody who tells you what you should do, eat or watch in the theatres. Do what you like! As long as its all good OK.

Oh and I have to say that the best part of this movie is the romantic waltz...

You'll see!!!

I really love this movie!!!! Steve Carell is excellent!!!

All the casts, the plot, the atmosphere... Truly a once in a lifetime beauty! Movie of the year!

OK, on with the comment(,")(",)

Steve Carell is playing Dan Burns who's an extremely popular advice columnist who can't seem to get things straightened out in his own life. He's giving everything he can for his three daughters but can't seem to put up with the fast phase of life.

He's got three daughters namely: 1. Jane Burns (Alison Pill)= she's the eldest of the three. She's cool 2. Cara Burns (Brittany Robertson) = she's the middle. She's hot 3. Lilly Burns (Marlene Lawston) = she's the youngest. She's cute

Every year, Dan and his three daughters always visits his parent's for a little family get together with his brothers and other relatives. His mother Nana Burns (Dianne Wiest) and his father Poppy Burns (John Mahoney) asks Dan to go and buy a newspaper. He went to a bookstore then he meets and instantly falls in love with Marie (Juliette Binoche),a beautiful woman who seems to be looking for a certain book. Chemistry happens over a cup of tea and muffin and...

OK, that's it! I won't type another word because this is just too good for you to read only!!! Go watch this!!!

All I can say is that this movie will really hit the spot.

Steve Carell, once again, you're the best!!!

Whoa, this movie received mainly poor reviews from critics and did not live up to box office expectations garnering just $13,573,284....

Now that's bad... But none of those critics saw the potential of this movie.... OK, the plot is a somewhat common in the world of movie industry. OK maybe many people expected more out of this. But think outside of the box for a moment. Watch the movie but first of all, take your egoistic-critic-character out when you do. Now, that's it.

You would never see anything beyond what you think of it. Pay attention to the movie's moral lesson. Look at it closely. Then rate it...

I, myself, have seen many movies that received really high reviews from critics but when I watched it, it doesn't really add up to the fact of its high ratings.

I love this movie... Period... See it for yourselves but remember to throw away your... aw, you know it already so whats the point it saying it..

I love this anime!
19 February 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Wow... I'm the first one to give a comment.... ehem..

First of all, when I first laid my eyes on this anime when I was still in 6th grade, it took my breath away....

This anime has everything... comedy, action, adventure, drama, horror(OK, No horror.... I'm just kidding). This anime has potential and can easily be loved by anyone....

OK, our protagonist... the young swordsman that goes by the name, "Yaiba". He's a young kid who lives in the forest with his dad to train his skills as a swordsman. He's got 2 pets with him to help him in his training, a vulture and a tiger. As far as I can remember (for Christ's sake, its been 11 years since I've seen this), after the incident in the 1st episode, Yaiba's dad has recommended that Yaiba should go to Japan and train harder. So after all is said and done, Yaiba goes to Japan.

That's that!

I'm not going to spoil anything anymore.

For your sake, Yes YOU! THE ONE WHO'S READING THIS! If you haven't seen the anime yet then stop reading this and go watch it!!!

All in all, a solid 10!

Lucky Star (2007–2008)

This anime will make you feel at ease when you watch it!
15 February 2008
Warning: Spoilers
First of all, I'm the type of guy who doesn't watch silly, girly, annoying, no-plot-at-all-type of animes or movies... But this is somewhat different...

I have to say that "Lucky Star" is one of those animez that really packed a punch in my taste. A friend of mine recommended this anime a month ago and gave me his original dvds. At first, I wasn't really interested because its just a story of 4 highschool students and their daily lives...

What the hell? Yeah, I mean... That's it?... Their daily lives? I'm like, so what? What the hell is wrong with this anime? No other plots? That's it? Then, a few weeks ago, I gave it a chance. I watched the first episode... then the next one... then the next one... then so on and so forth...

Then I realized that this anime has potential... I mean I has a spark on it. This anime doesn't have any plots at all but I was really beginning to like it... A lot!!!

The story, well, just like I've said earlier, there isn't any, nothing at all.

There are 4 main characters:

Konata Izumi: a spunky girl who loves to chat with her friends, read loads of mangas and stay late at night doing nothing else but to play... play.... and play online games!... she doesn't study at all.. Well, that's her!

Miyuki Takara: (ehem... my fave) the girl who's already got a pair of big boobs for her age. She's the nicest girl in their highschool (I think)... She's got a pair of eye glasses. Sometimes, she's clumsy but that's what I love about her.... She does it in a hot way... huuuuuuuraaaaahhh!

Kagami Hiiragi: She's the twin sister of Tsukasa Hiiragi. She's the most responsible one in the group. Needless to say... She's the goody little two shoes and she's also hot as hell.... That's all I have to say about her. Booyaaaaahhhhhhhhh!

Tsukasa Hiiragi: She's the twin sister of Kagami Hiiragi. She's got the shortest hair in the group. She's kindda lazy just like Konata Izumi and also hot by the way... Oh and she's also kinda clumsy like Miyuki Takara. Well, that's it(",)

OK, let me tell you about the Music: One word.. Cute!!! Most likely the cutest one I've seen in ages!!! I love it!

Overall: Oh, do I have to say it? You've seen how many stars I've given it...

A complete 10!!!

You'll learn a lot from this Movie! I guarantee!
6 February 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I first saw this movie from a pirated copy... yup, guilty! Anyway, even thought its kindda blurry, I loved it! Can't get enough of it! Well, the next day, I went to the movie theaters and watched this movie so that I'll appreciate it even more. That's how great this movie is to me.

Jennifer Garner gave her perfect performance and I found her pretty charming. OK, pretty hot!!! I mean, she's 30 something and acts like a 13 year old girl... That's a turn on! wayyyy hot!!! Like molten lava!!! This movie is really fun to watch. Don't go trying to compare this movie to 1988's "BIG". While Tom Hanks wakes up one morning suddenly an adult in the same time, 13 going on 30 has a certain "Spark" type quality to it. From where she wishes to be older, she suddenly wakes up literally 17 years later. Everyone else is older also. That's the difference of this movie from Big. She skipped the 17 years of her life! So in other words, it has its own originality.

To make a long story short, I enjoyed this movie. It kept me entertained. For all its shiny elements, it's perfect the way it is.

I loved it!!! Frankly speaking, I'm still watching it right now, in this very moment! This movie Rocks!

Warning: Spoilers
This movie is one cool ride from the beginning til the end. It will never let you go. I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan of Amanda Bynes OK(",)

I was really surprised that there are many nasty comments on this film. I mean OK, I realized and accepted that not everyone is going to like something, or dislike it. But to say that this movie really stinks? Man, ya'll have some serious issues! I loved the film! It's one of the best movies I've ever seen.

The character of Daphne(Amand Bynes)is actually very likable. She had been longing to meet her father ever since her diaper days. I was surprised at how good an actress Amanda Bynes really was. I had heard all the horror rumors of her show, and yet she proves she's actually very talented. And very hot!! I might add(",) This film is one of many that I'll really cherish forever!

Anime Of The Century... This Is Simply The Best!
3 February 2008
Warning: Spoilers
The Anime "One Piece" takes place in a world where pirates rule the seas, Devil Fruits are scattered all over the world, and the most prized possession of Gol D. Roger is the target... One Piece!

Gol D. Roger was the Pirate King who had fame, fortune, power, everything that anyone wanted to have... On the day of his execution, he revealed the location of his treasure, One Piece. He said that it is hidden somewhere in "The Grand Line".

This made people set sail and try to obtain the treasure of treasures, One Piece. Sadly, many have failed and died trying to obtain it. But over the years, it has drawn attention to hundreds of Pirate groups who seek the title of Pirate King. The whole world has entered the Golden Era of Pirates. The Era where almost every pirate's dream is to become The Pirate King. They formed formidable crews to overcome those who are also seeking the treasure of treasures.

This is where the story starts. The protagonist of the tale is a boy who had set his eyes on becoming the new Pirate King. The Boy's name is Monkey D. Luffy. He's the son of the most wanted man named Monkey D. Dragon and the grandson of Vice-Admiral Monkey D. Garp.

Heads up, Portgas D. Ace is not Luffy's Brother. Ace is the son of the Pirate King and his real name was Gol D. Ace. He took his mom's surname Portgas, instead of Gol.

On the island of East Blue, Luffy grew up in hoping to be a pirate someday. He befriends with a pirate named Captain Shanks. He looks up to Shanks as a hero and would do anything to be part of his crew. But he was too young at that time to become a part of the crew.

One day Luffy accidentally ate the Devil's Fruit, Gomu Gomu (Rubber) that Shanks has at his possession. It gave Luffy the ability to become a human rubber. But once a person eats the Devil's Fruit, they'll be cursed with the powers forever and you'll lose the ability to move when they fall into the sea. Now Luffy is cursed to be a human rubber forever but vowed that even if he is cursed, he'd use this to his advantage to get the title of "Pirate King".

As Shanks departs with his crew, he gave Luffy his most prized possession, his straw hat. He told him to keep it with him, until they meet again.

A few years later, Luffy starts his quest to find some friends for his pirate crew. Throughout the series, he'll find new lands, new allies, treasures, dangers, and plenty of villains to face. On his journey to find new nakamas(friends), he met Roronoa Zoro the swordsman, Nami the navigator and thief, Usopp the Liar, Sanji the cook, Chopper the team's doctor, Franky the shipwright and Brook the musician.

Their adventures can be unbelievably funny and other times, they're incredibly sad. There are only two animes that I cried on. This one and the other is Naruto. I can't hold my tears because this anime got into me.. Most of the background story of the characters are really really sad.

This anime left me speechless the first time i saw it and it still leaves me speechless now.. And I still can't get enough of it. It even inspired me to create my own manga... The title is "My Twelve Wings" Hopefully, in the near future, it'll get published... hehe hopefully... I just started this morning but I already have an ending...

Eiichiro Oda! You're my #1 favorite manga artist and thanks to you, the world of One Piece is made...

Someday, I'll tell my future children and grandchildren the story of the almighty Monkey D. Luffy and his crew!

I'll cherish this anime till the day I die

True Beauty Lies Within A Frozen Second...
1 February 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I have to admit that.. at first, I was kindda bored and kept thinking that this is another one of those movies that I've already seen.. The type of which that are very common these days. But it really surprised me... This movie is something else... Something more that I could ever think of.

This movie tells us about two beautiful ideas - If you don't stop for a minute, you might miss the beauty of life and remind us of the beauty of the female body.

Ben likes and observes women/girls, not in a horny way, but in a way, of which he can always see beauty from them. When he pauses time in the supermarket, he undresses them, and see them, look at them, observe them. Then he draws. Hundreds and hundreds of sketches and drawings of these naked woman. He knows where exactly to find this beauty, then he draws the beauty that lies within the frozen second.

This movie actually has a LOT of nude scenes (which I really like and that's what we dudes like to see).

By the way, this isn't a filthy movie, if its what you're thinking of, but to understand beauty is to see beauty... Right?! And Nudity Is pure beauty of one's body...

Well, that's that... Just watch this movie with an open mind... I'm sure you'll love it!

One Of The Best... This Anime Is Perfect Even For Grown-ups..
16 January 2008
Warning: Spoilers
I've already watched a lot of animes throughout the years. Of course there are animes that aren't so good and some are the typical type like the hack and slash method. I can name a few animes that when you watch it, you can already guess the ending or what'll happen on the next episode...

In time, I realized and accepted that not everyone is going to like something, or dislike it. No matter what anime it is, no matter how much its budget and how great it looked on screen... It all comes down to the plot, the story, its everything... It all boils down to personal preference.

So, the question is, how do you know if you'd like something you've never seen but heard so much about? When I first started Naruto, I wasn't impressed... In fact, I kindda hated it... For me, It was full of bull****... I read the first 3 pages of the manga and I didn't read the following pages and just kept on flipping the pages because of boredom.

I was just looking at the pictures because I wasn't interested and when I saw Naruto doing the Kage Bunshin, I wasn like; so what?! Is that all he can do? I was like; "So what if he can do Kage Bunshin"? Still, Goku is better, or Yaiba is better, or so on and so forth... I didn't see the potential of Naruto.. Didn't even bother to see the anime when it hits the TV screens... I didn't bother...

That was my mistake... I didn't like Naruto because I didn't give its story a chance to dig in... When I finally decided to give it a chance... I found out that there is more than meets the eye in this anime, I immediately watched naruto and still, I wasn't impressed... I was more than amazed that this anime has everything; drama, comedy, action, plot that can turn a lot of heads for thinking what's next and well, I gave it a chance, and I wasn't disappointed...

From the first episode, they presented a distinct setting with distinct characters. Sure, archetypes were being followed (the boy dreaming of becoming big, the old grandfatherly figure, the teacher, the rival). The first episode showed emotion and depth to its main character and what he will struggle with, along with the dynamics of his interaction with other characters and their quirks.

Cut about ten episodes later, the plot arc currently being followed felt to me like it was not going to matter much to the main story. Some episodes had drawn out battles, and I got that feeling that the anime would be the type where they would go from different area to different area, developing their skills and learning moral lessons and such, but there would be no grand plot, no B story, that tied the series together. I also worried it would fall into mediocrity. Without giving anything away, by the end of that arc (about 19 episodes in), my mind was changed.

Having seen all of the series up to the current episodes, I can say at least for myself that Naruto is a deeper anime than some give credit to, and can be quite addicting. A strong focus is on its characters as they develop throughout the series and there are moments of real emotion, tragedy, intensity and even just amusement. It's not perfect, as there are slow times in the series and the cartoon suffers from tricks to get as many episodes out of the original story as they can, and I won't say everyone will end up liking it but I can say it had unexpectedly became my favorite anime.

So all of you who loved this anime, keep loving it...

All of you who hated this anime, give it a chance... well, you've got nothing to lose anyway, right?

It's already part of my life, as I grow older, I'll gladly tell my future children and future grandchildren the story of UZUMAKI NARUTO (",)

Bee Movie (2007)

Flat out B For The Bee Movie
9 January 2008
Warning: Spoilers
OK Here we go again... this is another one of those mediocre-kindda funny-type of movie that shot a load off on the Big screen! This is a story of a bee... kindda hard to figure it out huh?!

When I went to see this MOVIE yesterday, i was waiting for the break-out-and-laugh-till-you-die pitch-like dialogues and the likes... But I ended up waiting... and waiting... just waiting...

Well, I expected too much out of this movie.. I mean it's Seinfeld for Christ's sake.. I mean, I thought that this movie will wash out all the others!! Because of the trailers, I was kindda dragged into seeing this.. well, I'm a sucker when it comes to trailers..

In the theatre, I see lots of people are falling all over themselves with praise because this movie is cute, harmless, and not dirty. For goodness sake, folks, Winnie the pooh was shot!!!

This is 2008! CG movies with cute characters are a dime a dozen. As consumers, we should express a desire for genuinely worthwhile, well thought, funny kids/CG movies. Otherwise, we will get more and more of this drivel, and worse. The only good point for Bee Movie, is that they did not descend into a bunch of toilet humor. On the other hand, the instances that you could call "humor" at all were few and far between.

Anyway, I also heard that this movie was a rip-off!!! It's said that the bee movie was a pirated copy of Beebylon! Well, that's the rumor or it may seem that way...

OK now, enough of me saying that this movie isn't a worth-to-watch type of movie.. well, this is just me, I mean, if you still want to watch this, well, then go ahead and watch it.. This is just a simple comment from a simple movie-goer...

This Movie is a solid 2!

Not Bad, Simply Not Bad
10 December 2007
Warning: Spoilers
The trailers of this movie is simply moving and it has moved me to watch this movie on the first day that it aired on the wide screen.

This movie is somewhat a mediocre-type-of-movie. I mean, don't get me wrong but, there's something missing in this fantasy movie and I don't really know what.. Is it the story? The Plot? I don't know, I just feel something is missing. But a grade of 6 out of 10 is all I can give. I'm not a big-critic or any kind of those but hmm... in my life, I spend 60% of it watching movies and just the thought of another fantasy-filled-movie really gets me to go to a movie theater.

Now, it's the casts, I don't know how it works in the book but the adults are barely in this. Nicole Kidman has the most significant work, ow and did I mention that she's still HOT-AS-HELL? Sam Elliott, even though he's kind of a late arrival, is a great presence once he's around.

However Daniel Craig and Eva Green are barely in it and Christopher Lee has one blink-and-you'll miss him in a scene. Green is a suitably hot witch and Craig makes an impact in his one/two dialogue scenes early on which, along with a couple of wordless inserts of his storyline, put him enough into your mind to wonder about him. Kidman is perfect. There's something indelibly creepy about her rigid manner that works for the elegant but sinister Marisa Coulter.

Dakota Blue Richards is a great find as Lara Belacqua.

Now, the voice-only cast Ian McKellen is a perfect choice for the honorable polar bear while Highmore is either getting less annoying or it's just beneficial not being able to see him, as he is nicely understated as Pan.

The effects are good but not great. I find that they should have put more mythical-type of music to make it more... powerful(",) and more entertaining

Now, my favorite part!!! A big fight scene between polar bears and the end battle are suitably exciting and i found myself really entertained. I love it when Iorek Byrnison whack the crap out of that ugly-ass bear-king!

It is simply magnificent!!! Well, enough of my talking.. er.. writing... if you're interested, watch this movie!!! That's all folks!
