Ginî piggu 3: Senritsu! Shinanai otoko (1986)
Dissapointing
The concept of the movie was very good and creative, they just could have took the plot development to a better place, but they decided to make this trash instead.
Slaughtered Vomit Dolls (2006)
Worst horror movie I've ever seen, definitely not art
This is arguably one of the stupidest horror films I have ever watched. It is literally just vomit and gore, without any plot. The sad thing is that it seems like it could've had a good plot, but it is just the worst film I have ever seen. Lucifer Valentine is a 14 year old.
Nightcrawler (2014)
An Amazing watch, slightly over hyped
Jake Gyllenhaal plays an amazing sociopath and his partner is clearly afraid of him. This dynamic relationship plays itself out throughout the movie and is interesting to watch their personalities clash. The ending was interesting but not as satisfying as I hoped it would be. Personally, I think the movie was great but a bit over hyped.
Requiem for a Dream (2000)
Moving and Powerful
The movie was absolutely moving and powerful. The ending was heart wrenching and showed the viewer how badly the lives of these people had spiraled out of control. I don't think I have ever been that shaken emotionally by a film and I don't think that I ever will.
The Breakfast Club (1985)
Only perfection deserves at 10 and nobody is perfect, but this comes close
As a teenager, I may not have been able to relate to everything that the characters were saying, but the fact that they filmed in such a low budget environment and created such a masterpiece is a cinematic marvel.
American Psycho (2000)
A powerful message and one of the best movies I have ever seen
This movie does not have a explicit message but as you watch the film, the message behind the story becomes clear. At first all you see is a sexually depraved pervert who likes to rape and kill women, however, there is more to Patrick Bateman than meets the eye. Patrick was essentially given everything he wanted on a silver platter and did not have any manners. Additionally, he has serious mental issues that he never addresses. This film shows how his money and power corrupts him. Had he had actual love and a real connection with people (or maybe a therapist), he would not see women as mere meat, rather he would see them as people, just like him. His actions are not simply out of lust, they are a replacement for the intimacy he lacks and the power he feels from the rape. A very powerful message to all who are struggling with mental health issues.
Jisatsu sâkuru (2001)
Hard to understand but if you do, it is eye-opening
There is a lot of misunderstanding about the movie's plot and its messages. At first, there seems not to be a reason for the suicides except for a mysterious cult and a weird pop group, but I saw an explanation for the movie which now makes total sense. Everyone who killed themselves in the movie had feelings that were pent up inside of them that they could not talk about. The music of Deseret was so powerful that it evoked (not clear if it was intentional) suicides in all who listened to it and had unaddressed mental health issues. This is a masterpiece if you understand the story. I would rate it higher, but I feel like the explanation may not be so clear to everyone, thus making it receive a lower grade. If you are a philosophical person, I recommend giving this movie a watch.
The House That Jack Built (2018)
Amazing Acting
The acting in this movie is amazing. Matt Dillon plays a perfect killer, with absolutely no emotions or remorse. The twist at the end where we realize that he is going to hell is an amazing way to end the plot and a great way to do justice to the killer. Amazing movie and absolute roller coaster of emotions.
The Human Centipede (First Sequence) (2009)
Ok movie, Great Acting
The Movie is not quite as disturbing as its hyped up to be. The first half of the Movie, where the girls are kidnapped is very suspenseful and the scientist does a great job of luring them in and scaring them. The procedure and the creation of the Centipede is the climax of the film (in my opinion)/ After that, the movie gets worse. The shock from the Centipede dissipates and all you are left with is boring dialog and the Japanese guy screaming. The ending was disappointing.
The Wolf of Wall Street (2013)
Great Movie, Too much nudity
The plot was great and I really enjoyed the movie. The story telling was excellent. The movie was thoughtfully cast, however, a lot of nude scenes were unnecessary to the plot in my opinion. All in all, great movie!
Srpski film (2010)
Wow... at a loss for words
This was the first NC-17 movie I have ever watched and let me just say that the movie accomplishes what it came to do. I felt the pain of the character. This was the most brutal movie I have ever watched in my entire life. I am not easily disturbed, but holy S**t, WOW. A cinematic masterpiece, but not for the faint of heart.
