Tamasha (2015)
Touching subject, wel interpretation
Its a very delicate subject. I like the way they brought it over. If you have had mental challenges and also someone who is there to not just correct you but also just live with you, you will get this movie. I would have loved to see more of the mental challenges and problems portrayed in the storyline. The acting is amazing and Ranbir gives justice to the character. Its like he is/was also a victim of these kind mental effects. I hope bollywood keep these kind of movies coming, because im tired of all the biopics. Mental distress is a blessing when its cured. You start to live life, rather than just survive. Pokiyoo.
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (2023)
Better than Pathan!
Nice story, great acting by Ranbir. Shradha was ok. We really needed such a simple movie with great lines and comedy. All the bollywood movies now try to do too much and eventually disappoint. These movies turn in to classics. The only thing i didnt like is the climax. If the movie had stopped lime 10 minutes earlier i would have loved it more. Is definitely a must watch withe the family or as a couple. Grab the snacks and enjoy a good movie. It will also soon release on Netflix. Coul have even been a great Netflix original. Anyway i would surely watch it again. I hope this movie makes the bucksz.
Day Shift (2022)
Nice refreshing movie for movie night
Fun to watch, greet acting and nice cinematography. Storyline is nothing special, but some times you just neef movies like this. Snoop was used in the best way possible. I feel like a sequel is on the way for this one.
Street Food: USA (2022)
No food, just stories
If i wanted to know so much about peoples struggles, i would have watched another realty serie. If the name is street food, put at least some decent places which i can visit. Its more like a drama serie and thats not wat i want from a food show. A lot of youtube street-food vidz are way much better than this drama thing. Take a better look at their content. Failed series for me!
The Pursuit of Happyness (2006)
Overdramatized
The struggle is real, but the story is just stretching. I love feel good movies but this one feels bleh. Hustle for your kids, not with your kids. Boy may become rich, but wil be surely traumatized for life. #Pokiyoo.
Lightyear (2022)
This doesnt deserve to be rated so low
The target is kids born 1990-1993. I have a special connection with Buzz and this is a very nice movie. It is simple and hits the emotional button. The only thing i was waiting for is the slight connection with Toy Story. Hope there is more to come.
Bird Box (2018)
Kinda expected more
When you watch a Sandra Bullock movie, you expect a lot, and thats a good thing. However this movie feels like it needed a better pre story. For me it felt like a sequel to another movie. Just a good watch for family night, but afterwards not much to talk about.
Nobody (2021)
I need a prequel!!!
It doesn't get the credit it deserves. This movies has to be a classic. Nice and simple storyline and realistic(ish) fighting scenes. Bob is the best person for this role and Christopher is a pleasure to watch. I hope we get to see a prequel or sequel, i just want to know more about the characters.
Don't Look Up (2021)
Reality(ish) with a sense of humor
Nice movie, brings out a strong message with a sense of humor, i like that. It leaves you thinking about your appreciation for life and family and also to be grateful for what you have.
