Godzilla (1998)
This has nothing to do with Godzilla
Not only does Godzilla look nothing like the previous versions of Godzilla, but is much weaker as well (he runs from the military, has normal fire breath instead of the atomic breath, and is killed by missiles, a weapon that to the previous versions of Godzilla was a minor nuisance at worst.) I kind of like Godzilla's design in this film as an original creature, but not as GODZILLA HIMSELF.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019)
One of my favorite Godzilla films, but it could have been better
The Monster action is SPECTACULAR and the CGI is often very good, even if it looks a bit fake in some shots. My one major problem is that the writing could've been better, although it's not enough to lower my rating of the film by too much. If this film was better written, this would've easily been a 10/10, but because of the writing, I give Godzilla: King of the Monsters a 9/10.
The Jurassic Games (2018)
A surprisingly fun movie
You would expect this film to be nothing but trash, but it's actually has some quality. The plot isn't very deep, but the action is well coreographed and the comedy elements can actually be good at times. Also, for a low budget movie, the Tyrannosaurs actually look good because the CGI models were made by someone with talent, and even when che CGI is bad, it's excusable because it takes place in a video game. Jurassic Games is a good movie if you just want some action and comedy, even though the story and acting aren't great. 6.5/10.
Jurassic Fight Club (2008)
I HATE this sad excuse for a documentary!
I hate Jurassic Fight Club for 3 main reasons. The first reason I despise this show is that it's inaccurate, even for the time. Some examples of things that were inaccurate, even when the show came out are Majungasaurus having defined forearms, Pachyrhinosaurus having a nasal horn, Deinonychus and other dromaeosaurs not having feathers, and SEVERAL OTHERS. The second reason why I loathe Jurassic Fight Club is that the editing is annoying and almost gives you a mini-seisure because there are too many fast-pased jump cuts and ugly color filters. The last reason why I have DISDAIN for this series is that it's ONLY about dinosaurs killing each other, and whenever this peice of crap masquerading as a documentary brings up something that's not about killing, it only spends only a few minutes on that subject so it can just get to the bloodshed quicker. Dinosaurs were regular animals and didn't fight to the death for no reason apart from some "endless hunger". This is a documentary, and documentaries are supposed to be educational, but Jueassic Fight Club LIES TO ITS AUDIENCE. 1 out of 10, would not reccomend.
