Talk to Me (2022)
An Instant Classic.
I'll start this review off my saying this movie is an instant classic that everyone should see as it's the best movie of the year so far, As an Australian who has watched the RackaRacka boys since I was in middle school and lived in the same place in Aus as them I, Gotta say I'm so proud of them this movie is absolutely Phenomenal and seeing Australian culture captured perfectly in this movie made me so happy, Every thing in this movie to me was perfect the cinematography, the score, the acting was all so good, And Sophie Wilde is going to be a Star her performance was phenomenal, And I don't want to spoil the movie so I'll end this review by just saying you have got to see this movie it's amazing and deserves a Academy Award.
The Fallout (2021)
Amazing Film, And Jenna Ortega's Performance was Incredible.
First of all I'd like to say this is an amazing
Film dealing with a lot of serious topics and deals with them well I really loved the movie but I am not a movie reviewer, Just a fan of Films So this review might now be written that well but it's what I feel I love about this incredible film, Vada is the main character and is going through massive amounts of trauma, anxiety and depression Etc in a really realistic and authentic way to little ticks and manurisms and not over done just perfect and very relatable for young people of our generation, Portrayed By The Amazing Jenna Ortega her performance was absolutely Incredible in this film and made the character feel so real and relatable, And was the stand out performance and she 100% should of won an Award for her Performance as Vada, And being some who has experienced mental health problems this Character was very authentic, Anyway The first ten minutes of this film made me feel super anxious and dread and I'm not even from American it's very heartbreaking that young people have to go through these things as they have become a common enough occurrence, when I was in high-school I couldn't even fathom anything like this happening and it's very sad that people haft to as it shouldn't even be in your mind as a possibility, And you shouldn't haft to worry about these things happening while trying to get and education and high-school is a very though time in young peoples lives already, And I think this film handled this topic very well and the portrayal of people who have experienced this type of Trauma, From Developing Triggers, Ticks, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD and much more, And how these people might go about dealing with these problems from the subtle and the complex like isolating yourself from friends and family, Feeling numb And empty developing bad eating habits and being irritable or having mood swings, To experimenting with drugs and Alcohol or sexually and going to therapy, Again all of this being portrayed in an extremely authentic and loving way, Now to the Ending of the Film, The ending for me was very bittersweet, Somber, Tragic, and Sad, But sadly realistic Vada seemed to be trying to work through her trauma and get better by going to therapy and returning to school and was looking very healthy and happy, While she texts her Mia joking around and taking a selfie with a funny face while sitting on a rock outside of a classroom then she puts her phone down while smiling and sitting on the rock, And looking kind of at peace and happy that shes getting help and getting better and being comfortable and feeling secure enough to return to school where her trauma began and as she puts the phone down looking happy and smiling a notification goes off on her Phone saying there was a school shooting in Ohio and then Vada's facial expression changes form a smile and bliss to pure fear, confusion and dread and stars to have a panic attack and hyperventilate as the screen fades to White, As Heartbreaking as this ending is and Leaves Vada still not fully ok, I do like it a lot and think everyone show go and see and support this incredible film, I'd even say just watch it to experience Jenna Ortega's phenomenal Performance.
Review Over.
Here are some random thoughts and words I have about this Film.
The Film tackles very seriously topics but still manages to be lighthearted and funny quite a lot of times actually and put a smile on my face.
I really liked the little subtle and emotional moments with the characters Alone mostly Vada and with other characters together.
I've watched this Film multiple times now it's that good, And i am now just making a review now, also this took bit to be released on streaming services even though I had watched this beforehand.
Also I really liked the score and music selection also huge props for them putting in a Juice Wrld song.
Also I'm just writing this to put it in the Universe and so I can say I told you so but I 100% Think/Know Jenna Ortega will become a A-List Academy Award Winner in the future and hopefully many more awards as she's a incredible Actress and her Performances are always phenomenal,
And I'm so glad she's starting to finally get the recognition she deserves and I've been a big fan of hers for years now as I've been watching Her In Films and TV for years now, even as far back as when she was on Disney, And I think she's should be praised for being so incredibly good at her age, And you can tell how much love and passion she has for Acting as well as being a very kind hearted and caring person, And not to mention being incredibly Talented and Beautiful, And I can't wait to see what she does next and to see her career blossom I'll be rooting for her, And I'll be watching whatever she's in, In the future to watch her incredible performances in whatever she's in.
I like the name a lot Vada it's very unique and cool and also she's kind of a tomboy and she seems like a very kind and caring and thoughtful person to friends and family just like Jenna Ortega irl.
Jenna Ortega's Character Vada was very funny and tragic at the same time like I've written above and I also love her style the oversized clothes and very relaxed laid back look and wearing Nike sneakers and not caring what others thing and being kind of an outcast girl.
Also this movie was quite funny at times and sometimes was kind of like a dark comedy / Coming to age type of movie.
Also here are a bunch of what looks like jumbled up words but are some of my favourite funny moments form the Movie. I liked the scene when Vada smokes weed and just goes on a rant pretty much to herself while the other girl Mos is just floating in the pool with the joint in her mouth and then you asks if she's being annoying and that the weed is making her chatting and them Vada just crawls up next to the side of the pool and falls in and also the scene then Vada is texting someone and her little sister is just making a TikTok in the background or Vada saying to her therapist that she has developed a porn and then apparently for making an inappropriate joke and then joking about the therapist faxing what they've talked about to her mom and Vada tripping in class after buying e and eating a Pen and getting ink in her mouth then asking the teacher to go to the rest room and her just messing around outside of class and rolling or just going down the stairs while laying down and having her mouth covered in ink and then saying it's spaghetti or Vada say to her mom that not to worry because she had sex with a girl and she's not going to get pregnant so that's a bonus right? While her mom is trying to process everything she said previously.
Also as you can see from everything I've written above I can't stop raving over Jenna Ortega's phenomenal and loving performance.
Wednesday (2022)
Jenna Ortega Is Phenomenal In Wednesday.
Wednesday was a really fun And intriguing show the mystery was great and really had me trying to investigate it figure it out, And the beautiful Jenna Ortega's performance was Phenomenal as always and really the best part of the show for me it's insane how much emotion and feelings she could convey through Wednesday's Eyes, And I'm sure her career will explode even more after This show and it'll for sure hold great things in the future maybe an Oscar who knows (Hopefully) she's definitely one of the most Talented Actress I've seen in a while and am rooting for her and For her to have even more success in her career, Anyway I'm not a reviewer just a fan but if you want to watch a really enjoyable show definitely watch this is a Great time all the way through, And I really hope we get a second season also which I'm sure it will seeing how great the ratings have been and this being in so many new Jenna Ortega Fans, Also it's really impressive that Wednesday only blinks around three times in the entire show and only smile a few times also, Anyway this is a 10/10 Show go watch it :)
Look at Me: XXXTentacion (2022)
Great Documentary about a Legend
This was was an emotional roller coaster I've been following X's career since 2015 when I was 15 and I know it's clique to say but his music really help me with my feelings of Anxiety depression and anger, Both sides of his music distorted and anger filled and the slow more emotional filled songs really spoke to me at the time and and still today, And even though I was only listening to him for 3 years before his death his music had a big impact on my life and taught me how to express myself and emotions and I'll always love his music for that, Anyway this documentary was really great hearing about his upbringing and Re watching his come up rising from the underground to become one of the biggest rapper in the industry was really great I liked that it didn't shy away from the dark parts of his life with Geneva and showed how he bettered himself before his death, I do think there should of been more time spent with Ski and John and Denzel should of been in there and they left out other parts of his life such as the Jocelyn incident showing how X was definitely tortured soul moulded by his environment and he was a deeply flawed individual who seemed like more of myth and legend after his death who did a lot of bad but also accomplished a lot of good by helping millions of lost people and saving countless lives, By the end of the documentary I was in tears X was the first Famous person who died that truly effected me I remember waking up and seeing the news and going into a depression and it Messed for a while he was the only artist who spoke to me, It's hard to come to terms with this being one of the last forms of media we'll get of X but all I can say is we should all be happy we were able to experience his career and legacy with his short life while he was here if you're a fan of X this documentary was a must watch Long Live Jahseh <3.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
Great Movie
Loved the movie, Wanda is my favourite character and she was great in the movie Elizabeth Olsen did an amazing job as always, I think the move 100% should of been a Scarlet Witch movie though I connected more with her story than I did Dr Strange's and I think they definitely should of been more about Wanda, My favourite part was when Wanda absolutely ruined the Illuminati and turned Reed Richards into string cheese lmao and this movie showed how Wanda is the most powerful person In the MCU and the only person that could defeat her was herself, The whole movie was full of great visuals and music and the acting was on point the whole movie was Amazing, Also Wanda is 100% not dead she's be returning for sure :)
Arcane: League of Legends (2021)
Absolutely Amazing
Arcane is simply one of the greatest animated shows ever made and one of the best shows I've watched in a very long time the show really makes you feel for all the characters and every single scene in this show is a work of art, This show is also the best video game adaptation ever made massive props the the creators they've made a masterpiece, Arcane is a Must Watch 10/10, I can't wait for season 2 :)
Peacemaker (2022)
Absolutely Amazing Show
I've just watched the first 3 episodes of Peacemaker and I've got to say it's one of the best Superhero shows I've watched and it's incredibly funny Peacemaker is a Must Watch 10/10.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
Spider-Man No Way Home A Amazing Spider-Man Movie
No Way Home was even better than I imagined and definitely lived up to all the hype and my high expectations seeing Tobby Andrew and Tom's Spider-Men all together and also Matt Murdock at the start, Was amazing as someone who loved all the Spider-Man movies also I loved when Electro hinted at Miles Morales, I felt the ending where Peter was at the donut shop with MJ and Ned was very bittersweet but I loved it, Also damn... that last post credit scene for Multiverse Of Madness was Amazing can't wait to see Dr. Strange in his own movie again and can't wait to see Scarlet Witch back also was that a evil Dr. Strange..., Anyway overall I thought the entire movie was Amazing and blew all my expectations away 10/10 :)
