Saw X (2023)
TOP 5 SAW MOVIES.
Saw X was something that was needed for us Saw fans, we get to see a more human side of John Kramer which we were not used to in previous movies, and also we get to see another villain than Jigsaw which were not used to either, you will have empathy with John Kramer in this movie for all the things they made him go through. Amanda comes back, Hoffman comes back too, the scenery in Mexico is beautiful and the plot was really good, it's been a while since we had a good Saw movie because the more recent movies were just mid or not that enjoyable and this one was a treat. It's as good as the first 3 movies.
Strays (2023)
GENIUS COMEDY.
I saw the movie dubbed to Spanish, and I cried out of laughter!, it's been a while since I've laughed so hard in a movie, it has a good plot, good voice actors (at least in Spanish), and I saw the movie twice in the weekend, one with my girlfriend and the next day with my parents.
To be honest I was surprised on how they did the dogs to act according to the script or the scene to follow, that was unbelievable; you can see there's a lot of work behind the scenes on this movie and it's hilarious af in the process.
100% recommend to anyone having second thoughts about whether to see the movie or not.
Btw the final bit of the movie it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen.
Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio (2022)
Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio. A Sublime Masterpiece.
Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio. Wow. Just wow.
The art in this movie is sublime, the stop motion it's just mind-blowing!!
I've seen the original Pinocchio a couple of times, especially when I was a kid. Right now I'm 20 and it's been forever since the last time I saw Disney's Pinocchio, so I was just pretty much blank of expectations or how the plot was gonna be.
The movie started, and it started off way too deep, and it got me in first 5 minutes. The story is so raw, real, with an important message and the way Guillermo delivers that message is.
The final burst me into tears, it's been forever since I've cried in a movie; this one broke the hell out of me.
Best movie in 2022. And it should win Oscars, a lot of Oscars.
LOL: Last One Laughing (2018)
It gets better every season.
At first in Season 1 and 2 it was all about combining old school comedy and pop-up comedy in Mexico, it didn't go well, the generational gap in between these styles was pretty obvious. Season 1 is a little hard to watch and not that funny and Season 2 definitely was way more funnier and entertaining with new dynamics. The concept of the show is very entertaining and over time they have implemented this concept better and better.
Season 3 is looking very promising to be honest, they focused on comedians from all Mexican media and combining different styles of comedy with no generational gap, can't wait for Season 3!!
