Rencontres de cinéma: Episode dated 16 December 2007 (2007)
Not good
I watched this with my parents and gosh it is terrible. Should not have been made in the first place because it is so bad duh. The visuals are bad, the storytelling and directing are both next level bad, and don't even get me started on the acting. A horrible start to a show, will not watch the rest for the reason that it's a waste of time.
Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017)
Garbage game
I don't understand the 10/10 reviews. This is another hot garbage from EA, please play Jedi: Fallen Order instead of this crap, there are a lot of bugs and technical issues. Do not waste your money like I did, this game is trash and even its story is below average and so is the gameplay. Hopefully EA is shut down for good because these kind of games should not exist, please play Fallen Order or something else other than this piece of crap. Boring game 0.5/10 I hate it.
13 Reasons Why (2017)
Rewatching this.
Season 1 and 2 are actually pretty good, but there is bad stuff in season 2 as well. Season 1 is perfect if I'm being honest, it's just so good and the characters are well-written. Season 2 is not as good as Season 1 but it's still good, the story still makes sense. Season 3 is okay, it's not bad or good, it's in the middle. Some flashbacks were fun, there were bad scenes too but the acting is still good. This season just feels so out of place with the story, not bad by any means. Season 4 is so strange, this show became like Riverdale and the writing is so bad. They ruined most of the characters but the last two episodes were actually good, and so is the first one for me. But this show doesn't actually become bad for me. I enjoy watching all four seasons and the last one isn't that good.
Season One - 10/10 it's perfect.
Season Two - 8/10 it's pretty good.
Season Three - 5/10 it's not bad.
Season Four - 6/10 the ending saves this one.
Sonic Unleashed (2008)
This is IT.
Sonic Unleashed is no. 2 on my favorite games after Grand Theft Auto. It's an overhated game, it does not deserve all this bad criticism because it is the best Sonic game, it is nostalgic. I grew up with it and I love it, the soundtrack, the locations. I love it all, it's my childhood and so is GTA V, if you hate it, you hate it that's your opinion but it's a masterpiece, for me at least. The night levels can be pretty difficult and challenging but the more you play them the better you become. I am trying to finish Eggman Land, one of the longest and hardest stages in Sonic Unleashed, and after that I think the game is over, I have to find the temple and put the shattered pieces back together and I might play the game again this summer. It's really fun.
Morbius (2022)
Morbius is IT.
This is the best movie I have seen since Batman & Robin. The plot twist was so good, this is what a superhero movie should be. It has no flaws, I know you don't believe but the pacing is perfect. The story makes so much sense, the acting is perfect, it got 11 oscars and it deserved it. Trust me when I say this but Morbius is peak fiction, it is my favorite movie 11/10.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
The Amazing, Good and Bad.
No spoilers until you see the warning.
So this film is really hard not to like. It's really fun to watch, especially with a group of friends. The story is done perfectly but it could've been a little better if it didn't feel so rushed. Like I mentioned, yes this film is kinda rushed, like the pacing makes the movie feel an hour and it makes rewatches a bit dull. Anyway, the villains are good, except for the sandman and lizard who were so boring with honestly zero personality. Sandman's motivations don't really make sense but we'll get to that in the spoilers section. As far as the acting goes, they all have done a terrific job, especially Tom Holland and Willem Dafoe. There are sad and funny moments. The cgi is not very good in some of the shots and that's the biggest problem with this film, the bad cgi made me distracted but anyway let's get into spoilers. If you haven't seen it yet, go watch it, it's definitely worth your time.
SPOILER WARNING
The first act of this film is Peter dealing with the fact that his identity is revealed and it's just mcu comedy and stuff. They didn't really make a big deal out of it, and it felt like they just wanted to get to the multiverse stuff. The second act is slow and fast at times, and the bad cgi can be seen, and tbh the fight scenes the first time you watch them feel really cool, but when you rewatch the film they kind of feel weak compared to other ones, BUT this problem is only on a few parts of the bridge scene and the entire electro fight in the woods. When the fight with doc ock ended I was like, "oh already?", it was so fast. Peter finds out some of the villains die, so he fights Doctor Strange who doesn't care and just wants to finish this. The mirror dimension fight is actually pretty cool and Peter wins and gets the villains to Happy's apartment to cure them. He makes some of the cures until the goblin takes over Norman and brainwashes the villains into fighting Peter. Aunt May dies by gobby and says the iconic line "with great power, there must also come great responsibility". This fight was a masterpiece and Aunt May's death was emotional, cause Tom Holland nailed it in that scene and the music that was used made it 10x sadder. Then Andrew and Tobey appear and god the cgi is terrible, the portals looked so weird and fanmade. The entire movie's tone changes and the pacing becomes slow. All the Peters meet and the scene is just marvelous, pure perfection. But after this really emotional scene with them sharing their anger and grief in the past, the pacing goes fast. They make the cures and the final battle is fun but there is questionable cgi. The villains are cured but the spell is destroyed and Peter needs to make the heroic and responsible choice or the fabric of reality will break. Peter makes the choice to get everything about Peter Parker out of existence and be alone. Peter loses everyone and truly becomes Spider-Man. First of all, wow the ending is such a masterpiece and this is a satisfying conclusion to this trilogy, despite all the bad cgi and fast pacing the story itself is a 10/10 honestly, Andrew was redeemed and got the love he deserved since 2012, him saving MJ is really satisfying. Garfield's acting made it satisfying. Tobey was good, and the wise version of Peter that teaches both of them a lesson. Anyway this was a great conclusion to finish an origin story and get to the real stuff.
