Stick to season one
7 February 2020
It gradually becomes the norm. An interesting and promising first season is followed by a season so bad that it is hardly understandable. It seems like they have just enough material to fill up one season, and then try to cover up the lack of creativity and new ideas with lots of completely unrealistic shootouts and a generally weird and constructed action that the viewers are probably meant to perceive as enigmatic and mysterious. But it doesn't work. The start of this series was promising but crashes completely in the second season.

Confusion
13 January 2020
I never think I've been so confused by a TV series. What is this all about? Who are these people? What kind of function do they have? What is the connection between them? What time axis are we in? Present time or flashback. I gave up after episode 5. This is certainly no new "Game of thrones".

What!?
19 November 2018
I do not get it. This series has got 8.9 points average on IMDB. It is simply incomprehensible. Can anyone explain? I never think I've ever seen such a boring TV series. Apparently a horror series, but what we get served is the story of a relatively dysfunctional family with difficult relationships, drugs and mental problems. It's as if the story stands still, no progress, no development and above all no excitement. We are thrown back and forth in the timeline without this helping out. On the other hand, there is a lot of talking. Endless babbling and constructed dialogues that go in circles and do not contribute to anything. Besides, every single character is completely uninteresting, flat and at times extremely annoying. It is probably the intention that we should care for and feel sorry for these people, but the truth is we do not. Not the least, although the series is full of crying and sobbing and suffering facial expressions continuously.

Stick to season one
7 November 2018
Season one is really original and fresh. Great fun. But frankly that was it. In season two it is like they are telling the same story over again. Only the kids are not as charming as in the first season (they grow up after all). So my advice must be: Stop after season one. If you continue you will be dissapointed.

Do not watch beyond the 7. season
9 January 2018
This is one of the funniest shows ever. That is if you limit your viewing to Seasons 1 - 7. Beyond that the show has dropped dramatically in quality. It is simply not funny anymore. It is like they have pushed the "repeat button" and try to recycle old jokes over and over again.

Strange
12 September 2017
Worth seeing because of Shatners bizarre "interview" with Avery Brooks. This surpasses most of what I have seen with regard to absurdities. First Shatner and Brooks engages in some sort of word-game or word-duel where they "challenge" each other. Then Brooks sets himself at the piano and with a "mad" facial expression, he comes up with a melody to which both Brooks and Shatner try to "improvise" lyrics. Both at the same time. Truly strange. About the same caliber as Shatner's version of "rocket man".

Hard to understand
2 April 2014
I watched two episodes and that was enough. I simply did not understand anything!

Not that I have much grasp of horse racing in the first place, but most TV series that takes on a little "quirky" subjects tend to present this in a way that the uninitiated understands. Here there has not been enough focus on telling an understandable and captivating story. Nolte and Hoffman speaks incomprehensible, mumbling to a degree that it seems distracting, despite the subtitles. Have they learned from Marlon Brando? A pity because on papers this series looked very interesting with a lot of good actors.

worst star trek
17 December 2003
This is the worst Star Trek film. It is even worse than Star Trek 5 "The final Frontier". And that says a lot. The main problem is that it is so boring. Nothing is happening here. If you want to see a good ST film, watch "The undiscovered Country" or "The voyage home". They are both exelent.

exelent
7 August 2002
Yes, this film is exelent and shows Bronson at his very best. Although it was made 30 years ago it still rates as one of the best action movies I have ever seen. The action scenes are very well made, though they cannot be compared to how things are done today. It makes you think that there may not be need for enormous amounts of of effects and animation to make a film work. More important is a good story, actors who knows how to get the job done and a director who have the ability to create an suspenseful atmosphere. The film has sparse use of dialogue and music. Instead the images tells the story. In my opinion Bronson was never cooler than in this film.
