Christmas in the Rockies (2020)
Best movie of all time
Wonder, adventure, romance, comedy, and the best of all. Competition.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to step out of the regular humdrum of everyday life and just exist in a world where Dads don't grow old, but boyfriends do? Or when a three week training montage gets you better than any man out there. Well look no further. This movie has it all.
You will be swept away by the amazing scenery and heart wrenching tragic tale that puts Shakespeare to shame.
THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS ALMOST GOT CANCELLED!!!!!!! But one women and her courageous montage and her love for the environment saved the world. And a young new man in town. Is the only man brave enough to ask a women to marry him after three weeks of kind of being an item kind of not. It's complicated. She didn't talk to him for like a week? Maybe? Look the plot isn't important. Not important to me, you, the writers. It is a fantastic story and if you disagree with me.
Well you hate Christmas.
Also don't look into the ages of the actors. It doesn't match up to the characters...... and the actors don't do the best job at being their ages. But that's all last year movie 30 out of 10.
L'histoire de Noël (1994)
If you like Jesus he isn't in here
A cute story about animals first and Jesus who? Doesn't make sense as to why this movie is called "the story of Christmas" when Jesus is sidelined like Michael Jordan in his baseball career.
Also odd how a group of people In the Middle East all have light skin and British accents.
Like everyone even the animals I'm surprised the white baby Jesus did stand up and say "ello govnah quiet a day for tea and biscuits I do say so myself"
Also for some reason Mother Mary looks so unhappy to be anywhere in the film, and the animals are just plain rude to one another. And the people aren't better than the animals.
This movie takes a lot of liberties with the actual story portrayed in the Bible.
If you are not a Bible enthusiast and don't care about the story than this is a good movie for the kids.
If you do enjoy the Bible and the story of Jesus Christ our savior then I would suggest a different movie.
It's kind of like if you go in to drink water and it turns out to be flat Sprite. Yea it's Sprite but you wanted water.
Scrooge: A Christmas Carol (2022)
Don't watch if you enjoy the classic story
While this does give a "Frozenesk" vibe, and I can give credit where it's due that children will enjoy the pretty colors and music (also the dog). If you enjoy the Novel or the story of A Christmas Carol and are trying to find something new to scratch that itch. This movie is not it. Poor pacing, music, tone, and completely missing the mark on the theme of the whole story it does bring a normally gritty and darker Christmas story and make it more light hearted. Again if you are looking for something to make a dark story light this is it. If you are wanting an animated version of the classic story watch the Disney version.
This movie is the decaf coffee of " A Christmas Carol" it's better than nothing, but there is so much better options out there.
Not much heart and very cheeky. The writers took (in my opinion) too many liberties with the source material that made it feel completely empty.
