Why does everyone think they can make a horror movie? God, this is possibly the worst movie I have ever seen in my life. The plot is confusing and meaningless. The acting is horrible. The CGI monster is TERRIBLE. And in the end, a bunch of Medieval knights show up - they were not anywhere in the movie before that, they are not explained, and they show up out of nowhere! WHAT??? The writing is SO bad that it was comical. It's not so bad it's good - it's just so bad. My God, I cannot believe someone put this trash out there. Even kindergartners could have written a better script for a film. Nothing ab out it is scary, just laughable.

I am not sure where to even begin. It is offensive that people would produce this sort of amateur shlock and put it out there. The 10/10 review is obviously fake from someone who is involved with the film. The writing is comically bad. The acting is worse than a first year theatre student. The plot is unrealistic, stupid, and boring. The "castle" is just a nice, big house, not even a castle. All of the characters are one-dimensional, no, HALF-dimensional. It is offensively awful. If you want to spend your time more productively, then pluck your eyebrows out one by one: it will be much less painful than watching this piece of garbage.

This is a very amateur film with many flaws. I do not mean to be unkind, but I have to be honest. The acting is awful, the scriptwriting is awful, the filmography is awful, the plot is awful, and the effects are awful. Example: in the opening sequence, a girl runs face to face into a demon, and barely reacts. She speaks in deadpan tone: it is totally unnatural and unrealistic.

It is below B-horror. I might give it a W-horror ranking if I had to. Please do not pay to watch this amateur schlock. I'm sure the friends who made the film enjoyed it, and I am glad for that and that matters, but for any viewer, it is just awful.

...then this is your lucky day! A bunch of college students acting like total immature pricks and fighting about nothing go to a "haunted" mansion where literally nothing is scary, supernatural or haunted, and...record it all! Yay! Really, if you enjoy movies where nothing happens for 95% of the time, then you will LOVE this one!

Found footage horror movie makers need to learn to include horror throughout the movie, not just in the last 30-secone frantic nonsense. Seriously, this movie is SO boring that you would enjoy watching grass grow more. Do NOT waste any money on watching this. If it is free, still avoid it.

The acting is decent. The plot is alright. The effects are pretty meh. But the movie is just BORING. For 99% of the movie, literally nothing happens, and not in a good, Blair Witch way, but in a boring, kill me now way.

I found nothing in the movie that scary. A couple of parts were decently creepy, but nothing scary. I did like the fact that there were supernatural elements. I like some supernatural in my horror movies. But this entire movie could have been condensed to a short and it would have been much more entertaining.

As it is, you might better spend your time watching grass grow. Good effort, but it fails because nothing happens most of the movie.

This amateur attempt is terrible. TERRIBLE. Literally NOTHING HAPPENS the entire movie. How can anyone produce this and think it is good?? Three characters, nothing happens. Nothing supernatural or even remotely frightening. The acting is bad, too.

How do people make trash like this? WHO? Who thought this was a good idea? I saw someone saying that this was a MAMA ripoff -- it's not even that! At least that would be supernatural and scary. This is absolutely boring garbage. If watching two hours of lit4rally NOTHING happening turns you on, then boy, is this your lucky day!

I've had a better time watching grass grow.

It was on Shudder, which is a horror channel, so I watched it. I thought it was very good, especially for a lower-budget film. The acting was great, the concept was interesting, and it was certainly a thriller with a good plot. No doubt.

It was not, however, a horror movie. Thrills? Yes. Horror? No. There was also nothing supernatural in it.

I mean, when the title talks about Wehrwolves, and yes, I know who they were, you are expecting, I dunno, a werewolf or two? Nope. Nothing supernatural.

I supposed war itself is horror, yes. But it's basically a war film with an interesting premise, some good characters, some good action, and some thrills. As a film, it is good.

First, the good. The acting was really decent. That is about all the good.

Most of the movie is a bunch of friends talking with nothing at all happening, and certainly no horror. The "conflict" between the friends is never resolved and is pointless. I mean, literally nothing happens for the vast majority of this movie.

Next, the monster has no motive. In one line it mentions something about souls, but no explanation is given. It's stupid.

Third, for a movie about a hellish sinkhole, you never get to see the actual sinkhole.

Next, the special effects include some dude in a monster suit. All of the kills are shown off camera, certainly to save money on effects.

It's boring and awful and amateurish. I don't mean to be unkind, but I paid to see it, and I am miffed.

If you love supposed horror movies in which nothing happens in 99% of the movie and nothing is scary, then boy, is this your lucky day! My goodness. Alright, the one positive is that the acting was good. The characters were believable for the most part.

The movie is going for the "was it paranormal or psychological?" trope, which is fine, and which was done well in "The Exorcism of Emily Rose". It was definitely not done well in this film.

The acting was good, but the writing was not great. It was so, so boring that I found myself looking at my phone in many parts. I paid to watch it, so I gave it a chance, but man, it was boring.

Filmmakers, especially horror ones, need to understand that building atmosphere, character development, and all that stuff is great and needed, but unless scary things actually happen, then you are going to lose the audience.

Sorry to be negative. It is not the worst film ever, but it is incredibly boring.

I do not mean to be unkind, but the writing for this script is terrible. It is unrealistic, it meanders without a clear theme or point, and it is comically lacking in motivation.

The acting is pretty awful, too, with one or two exceptions. Casting is not great, as the "villain" of the show it totally unbelievable as a villain. He comes across more as a computer nerd or an accountant than a hardened criminal. The gore is amateur, but I have seen worse. Overall, I am sad that I paid money to see this piece of trash.

The storyline I guess had potential, but the writing is just so bad. It is not really the actors' fault that they had to read lines that bad. Boooo.

Oh, wow! This was a FANTASTIC film. Yes, it qualifies as horror. There is enough supernatural in it to leave you thinking and wondering. The "villain" is not who you think it is. It makes a wonderful, TRUE point about how white, Western nations exploit and destroy for cultures and people. It made me really, really sad.

The acting is fabulous, all the way from the main character to the children. The cinematography is masterful, and the screenwriting is top-notch. It is a horror film and so much more. It is a moral tale, one that scares you, not just from the supernatural tones, but the actual horror of the injustice. You MUST see this film.

I was not involved in its making in any way. I am a horror movie aficionado, this this is truly one of the best films I have ever seen.

The writing and acting are pretty bad in this film. The main character overacts constantly, and the poor acts must have a broken wrist from all the silly hand waving he had to do. The story does not have a real arc, but is jut a series of events with no clear silver thread through them all. The characters do not really develop at all, and the settings are boring.

All that being said, the effects are really good, like, almost Holly-wood quality good! The demons look fantastic and truly frightening. The possession effects, including sound, are great, too.

That's why I call this movie weird and contradictory: terrible acting and writing, but great effects. Weird.

The concept behind this film was not bad. It could have been a solid film. It was entertaining, sure. My wife watched it entirely through, and she never watches horror, so that means something.

That being the case, the characters had chance after chance to escape, to overcome their captors, to kill their tormentors, etc. They never took it. Not once.

Real humans in this situation (I will not give away the spoilers) would have tried more than once to escape, and could have likely succeeded, given the captive-to-captor ratio. At least some of them could have escaped.

One good thing is that the characters had stories, and the acting was not terrible. It was so unrealistic, however, in terms of escape, that it was a huge problem with the plot.

I suppose it's worth a watch for mild entertainment, but prepare to spot countless plot holes.

...then this is your lucky day! For a supped werewolf movie, 99% of the time it comes a cross as a Hallmark drama with bad acting. Special effects are all but non-existent. It's like film students found an old iPhone and decided to do a homework assignment.

First, the characters are always speaking like they have no emotions. Second, the cops are constantly getting wasted and driving drunk. Third, the "villain" spends more time in group therapy than doing anything evil. Fourth, the ending is nonsensical: if you find someone you love dead, you don't use leave them there and calmly walk away.

If you enjoy suffering, then boy, is this the film for you!

The movie is about mental illness. I know they were going for seeing through the mentally-ill eyes of the protagonist, but it was so weird, slow, and unrealistic, that it felt like they were making it weird just to be artistic and to make the viewer feel mentally-ill. There is also at least one character who is never explained, which is annoying. The plot makes no sense and has no resolution. I think my main mental illness is paying to watch this.

The good thing about the movie is that there is decent acting, and good atmosphere. I will give it that. There have been many good movies about mental illness, movies that are allegories or have a plot twist or involve the reader in the ill mind of the main character, but they at least make a solid story with a beginning, a middle, and an and. This has none of those.

This is an excellent horror film. The villains are very believable. The acting is great. It provokes a sense of dread and fear. Few movies scare me anymore, but this did, because the villains were so realistic. The end was slightly over the top, but I liked it for the FX. Give this film a try. This movie suffered from lack of FX budget. There were, I will admit, three scenes with good monsters, but that is all. Also, it confused Christian demonism with ancient American demonism. The acting was alright I guess, but nothing really happened for most of the movie. Also, a few plot arcs were left unfinished. Not worth buying, and really not worth watching unless your only other choice is watching patin dry.

You know, this movie had a low budget, mediocre acting, bad writing, and was full of cliches. EVEN SO, it could have been a fun B-grade horror movie to watch, but the CGI! My God, the CGI was amateurish and terrible! I laughed out loud! A person in a suit would have been MUCH better.

Good: 1. Great scenery, although I am not sure it was actually in Africa.

2. A couple of actors acted well enough.

Bad: 1. Weird voices, like some of the actors were faking their voices and accents.

2. Totally predictable and boring. Even the "reveal" was expected.

3. I had expected a supernatural movie, but nah, just humans.

4. Characters were so annoying that I did not mind their deaths.

Meh. Could spend your time watching something else better.

Was this a film student's project? God, it is awful. The acting is absolutely ridiculous and unrealistic. See your friend get slaughtered? No reaction at all. The writing is some of the worst I have ever had to suffer through. The FX are amateurish: severed hand is OBVIOUSLY rubber. I mean, it is really, really bad. Do not waste your time.

So good. It draws from the rich religion and superstition of Asia and manages to scare the heck out of you. Found footage, demons, spooky scenery, great characters, great acting, and a touching story above all. Horror aficionados must watch this film. I am not associated with its production at all for the record. Absolutely scary and keeps you thinking for days after the film!

The acting is great and the cinematography is great. The plot is incredibly boring and hard to make sense of. I am not even sure I would classify this as horror, maybe more like a psychological drama. Slow burn is one thing but geez.

Terrible writing. It moves too slowly, nothing happens, and it keeps doing random flashbacks to these dumb stories. The acting is really bad. The only good actor is the little girl. I hope she can purse a successful acting career. The "villain" looks ridiculous with no FX. Minimal gore, minimal scares. Just really boring.
