When Good Ghouls Go Bad (2001)
Great.. for kids, that is.
***SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS*** *Possible Spoilers?*
As a teenager, I don't often watch movies made for kids. But as my little brother sat watching this one, I couldn't help sneaking a peek at it. The cute little 8th grade goth kid with the crazy long black hair and safety pinned tie was WAY too adorable. He was THE coolest kid in the whole movie, although the storyline was a little.. mature for 8 year olds. I was sad when I found out that he dies, and even sadder at the end when I found out the truth. I think the end when the statue is unveiled is one of the best parts, although I was tipped off at who it was earlier in the movie. If you want a good Halloween story, but not all the blood and guts... and a cute goth boy too.. I recommend this one.
SLC Punk! (1998)
Awesome Movie!
I have to say... this movie was much better than I expected. Of course, it's not for everyone, and some people (like my grandmother.. hehe) would think that it's pointless and "has no plot". But for those of you who are or who used to be punks, or are interested in the aspects of it, I strongly suggest you check this movie out. This one's on my top 10!
***SPOILERS SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS SPOILERS*** The ending made me cry. Every time I watch that movie.. the ending makes me cry. I thought, hey.. why did one of the only right in the head people have to go and die? Of course, Matthew Lillard's performance was stunning in that scene, and you could almost feel the emotion spilling from him. Very believable. ***END OF SPOILERS***
SO GO AND RENT IT! Or buy it, like I did!
The Doom Generation (1995)
One of the best...
Yikes! So many bad votes and comments for this one. I loved it! I guess I'm just one of those kind of people who are into bad movies... It held me till the chilling ending.. which left me thinking about the movie for over an hour after it finished, and made me watch it again the very next day. I even went out and bought this one! But with a guest appearance from SKINNY PUPPY you really can't go wrong! And the soundtrack is absolutely amazing, with Cocteau Twins and Love and Rockets.. wow. And I loved the whole Scooter scene (being a huge Smiths fan myself). This is one to think about... GO AND RENT... NOW!
