The Truly Twisted Tale (2002)
Just horrible
The name "The Truly Twisted Tale" really suits the story. It really is the sickest and most twisted animated film I've ever seen. Obviously it is still targeted for children.
The main character, "Axel Toogood" is a good little kid whose parents clearly don't like him. In his room's door there's a sign that had originally said "Axel's room" but his parents had added the word "killing" between the words. Also the pictures on their wall show him being stepped on by his brother and eating under the table. Axel's best friend is "Pit", a rich kid with overprotective parents and a huge mouth. Pit is violent and easily angered. Axel and Pit decide to run away from home and end up living with their aunt "Annie", who has a four-year-old son "Dewey Dewey", who is a spoiled little brat and obsessed with being an actor. The rest of the film is just Axel and Pit torturing Dewey Dewey and their class mate "Bozo", and Annie torturing Axel and Pit.
It is truly a horrible film, and I don't recommend it to anyone.
Dexter (2002)
Not bad
The movie was actually pretty good, and Andrew Van Hise did a wonderful job in a very difficult role. The story itself resembled Ender's Game a lot, and that's probably what made it so great. If you're a fan of the Ender books and can't wait to see it filmed this movie will help a bit
The Hunt for Jakob (2000)
It's... it's "The Living Witness", with different cast
This movie the exact copy of 1999's The Living Witness, except that the actors are different. And the kid isn't american, but speaks english amazingly well. The Living Witness was a bit better film with some cool stunts, but The Hunt for Jakob has a lot better actors and more believable reason to kill off the kid's family. It's a pretty good film, but I still suggest you get Living Witness instead of this.
The Living Witness (1999)
Pretty good, actully
It was kinda clichéd and stuff, but it was still pretty good. The actors were good and the story was also nice, even though we've seen it before a thousand times. A little kid witnesses the murder of his family and stops talking. The only thing I didn't like is the twins who played the kid. They were decent actors, especially for their age they were good, but it was just too easy to tell when they switched the kid, since the other one was visibly taller and has darker hair.... they should've picked some kids who look the same, like the twins from Big Daddy
