The Middle: Hecking It Up (2012)
Just product placement
This episode is just one long car commercial, with a few bits of actual story in between. The premise is this: The neighbors, the Donahue family, get a new vehicle that Frankie Heck is supposed to park in their garage for them, bit instead she parks it in her home, and the Hecks proceed to count the ways the car makes their lives better. They mention the car model more than the actual names of the family members.
If it was more blatant it would be kind of funny, but, alas, it is not. This has been the last enjoyable episode of the show so far. Think Castaway if Tom Hanks spent all his time on the island taking to Wilson about the perks and benefits of sending parcels with FedEx.
My Giant Life (2015)
Typical lame reality tv formula
The only relatable one is Nancy, in season 1. The producers don't even try to cover up how staged everything is.
