Rick and Morty: That's Amorte (2023)
"It wasn't the death, it was the complexity of life"
Felt like a classic Rick and Morty episode. It's shocking how it went for extremely dark humor to be one of the most emotional episode of the show. First half of the episode was the funniest thing I've seen in this season so far. The interactions between Rick and Morty are gold. And I couldn't stop laughing after Morty's speech at the funeral.
But it was the ending what made this an episode to be always remembered. That montage with the music was so emotional. It makes you think about what your life exactly is. Whoever is responsible for the soundtrack did a great job.
And it is definitely an episode you can rewatch many times. Maybe then it loses its schock value, but not its emotional value.
You: The Death of Jonathan Moore (2023)
Honestly The Best Season Yet
It has the darkness of Season 1, or even more darkness. It has the plot twists of Season 2, or even more plot twists. And most importantly it has none of the filler episodes which more than half of Season 3 consists of. And this one has the best ending because after this conclusion I wait Season 5 more than I waited any previous seasons. But let's not talk only about the story because this season is outstanding thanks to its cinematography and its soundtrack. After what happened in the last five minutes of this episode I can see only one outcome for the whole story but this series can't stop to surprise me so I can't wait to see how it will end for good.
You: Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been? (2023)
True Colors of Joe Goldberg
Joe Goldberg was always an interesting character because after all the things he has done he still managed to stay a likeable character. But this is the episode when the watchers realize they only like Joe because they saw his point of view all along. However, in the first half of the episode we see the point of view of a different character and it mades one realize what a monster Joe actually is. We always forgave a lot of things what he has done because he killed somewhat even worse people than he is. But this time an innocent person is suffering from his deeds. And it is really hard to watch and make me disgusted that I've been rooting for him.
