Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005)
The best good bad movie I've seen
This movie is bad yet good at the same time, people who find enjoyment in bad movies and not disappointment or frustration call this a good-bad movie. There are so many things to take out of context in a humorous way in this movie: the line deliveries are so over the top that they are entertaining. This movie still does have some great moments like the order 66 sequence (it's especially impactful if you've seen the clone wars series) and the transitions between the duel on Mustafar and the duel in the senate building. Without these campy moments this would be a 2/5 movie but with these it is pure entertainment.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power (2022)
Not as bad as everyone thinks.
The show wasn't that bad, the sets, actors and costumes were really good and it's definitely setting up the next seasons. But thats my biggest issue with the plot of the first season. Because the entire season is dedicated to setting up the story it feels slow. On top of that some of the characters are very uninteresting, most notably Isildur who is destined to be the one who defeats sauron during the second age. Everything with the Harfoots bored my to death with the only redeeming quality being the Stranger. The shows best episode ûdun was the only episode that I really enjoyed watching. I feel as though most of the overly negative reviews I've seen are from the Tolkien extremists who hate the fact that something original is being done with the franchise. This is especially not a cash grab like the final hobbit movie because it would be the most unethical cash grab in history if that were the case considering they spent hundreds of millions of dollars on this show. If you love LOTR and are willing to trudge through the rough parts of this story then I recommend it.
Don't Hug Me I'm Scared (2022)
Please don't hug me
I loved the web series and the people behind it and now it has an entire television show! I wish it was more accessible though, if it was on HBO max or Netflix (because god knows Netflix needs good content right now) then more people could access this creepy, funny and talented show because I watched it on YouTube. The jokes were funny before but now they are so much funnier (somehow), the puppetry has improved a lot, Ducks voice has been perfected (it sounded too electric before) and I'm excited for a season two. There needs to be more shows like this and no more shows ripping of family guy/Simpsons, South Park and more. If you have not watched it than I recommend starting with the web series on YouTube and then watching the show.
Game of Thrones: Battle of the Bastards (2016)
Satisfaction 2.0
Really well done episode with half of its run time dedicated to the Bolton/Stark battle. Rickon running for his life as he almost makes it before getting shot in the back and the giants death both at the hands of Ramsay Bolton were horribly sad and it made me hate Ramsay even more than I thought I could. The moment when everyone is surrounded and it seems like everyone is about to die was so well done and tense, and then the breath of fresh air when Baelish and his forces arrive on the scene to defeat the Boltons was awesome. But by far the best moment in the episode was Ramsay being eaten by his own hounds, it was so satisfying and ironic because I think I hate Ramsay twice as much as jeoffrey.
Really good episode overall.
Game of Thrones: The Lion and the Rose (2014)
Satisfactory yet gruesome
I love this episode, besides the obvious moment that made me smile I love how almost the entire episode was dedicated to the wedding and the slow building of tension between Joffrey and Tyrion, it was really well done. Joffrey is one of the most Hated characters ever I can't help but think that his inclusion in the show was needed, the creators wanted us to hate Joffrey as much as the Starks and they succeeded gloriously in that regard. Though I was overjoyed to see Joffrey die I must admit it was a horribly gruesome 90 second scene of a young boy (sure the actor was 22 at the time but the character was 19) slowly choking to death while bleeding from the nose and eyes. In my opinion: as satisfying as Joffrey's death was it was really hard to watch and I'm not someone who is easily bothered by movie gore or violence.
Spaceballs (1987)
God tier parody
This is the best Star Wars parody I have ever seen! I laughed so many times during this movie and strongly recommend it to everyone just for the comedy alone.
Glitch Techs (2020)
Thank you!
Thank you for producing a show that doesn't relate to sponges, remakes or a 10 child family. Keep making shows that have humor and stories that are enjoyable.
Trollhunters (2016)
Good show with an unwelcome pinch of fat shaming
I love this show and I think it has a good story and mostly good characters. When the main characters overweight best friend is on screen every character does everything they can the insult him about his weight, not only that he is constantly stuffing his face when on screen and is incredibly stupid and annoying. I still think that this is a really good show and is definitely worth a watch.
The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants (2018)
Cringe and offensive
This is so cringe (cringe means it's so unfunny you question you're existence), the protagonist are bullies who commit countless "pranks" (one involves giving a classmate a mental breakdown and one involved purposely making a teacher lose her job.) and vandalizing government property, definitely some really good antagonist. This show also implies heavily on the moral of "dropping out of school" because the show makes school seem like a never ending hell that bans creativity and imagination. And finally we get to have our ears bleed with the best form of comedy: toilet humor, lovely. The original books were based on toilet humor but somehow they did it right, in this show it wants to make me jump of the Eiffel Tower. Speaking of the Eiffel Tower this show has an entire episode dedicated to discriminating French people. Please don't watch this show, for your own sanity don't watch this show.
Adventure Time: Bad Jubies (2016)
Appreciated animation yet annoying characters
I love adventure time but this episode really gets on my nerves. Good things: I love the idea to use claymation in this episode and I feel a sense of nostalgia from it. It also has a good premise, a super death storm is coming and Finn, Jake, Lumpy Space Princess and BMO have to build an underground shelter in order to survive. Bad things: Jake doesn't do anything to help build the shelter and instead sketches the outside world while everyone else is working their butts off, I know the moral is to appreciate the outside world but I would rather help build a shelter than die in a giant freaking storm while drawing trees. In the second half of the episode LSP who was already being super whiny and annoying at all of the food in the shelter because "she was hungry". After learning that the food was expired she runs around the shelter in a panic knocking over a bucket of water onto BMO which than causes the electricity to short circuit. This episode gets on my nerves so much because LSP is supposed to be a little whiny but this takes it to a level that is so unbearable I couldn't take it.
Dune (2021)
I need more!
I understand why they left of on a cliffhanger, I mean your trying to fit nearly everything from a 20 hour book into a two and a half hour movie. I am excited for part two and I am curious whether they are going to make a movie on the other two books, but in the meantime we should focus on 2023's dune chapter two. Also that worm looks like something out of Star Wars.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2021)
Really good first three episodes, then...
The beginning was really good then it went downhill the next three episodes mainly because omega (or dumbass kid) began making incredibly stupid choices and just kinda took over the show, then it rose with episodes 7-9 and fell again with episode 10 stood back up with episodes 11 and 12 then fell again with 13, thankfully it had a really enjoyable final three episodes, especially when they gave delta squad member scorch a cameo in episode 14.
Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)
!@?$ the insecure corporate shame that is Disney
I hate Disney for ruining Star Wars! Rogue One Mandalorian and The Bad Batch are the only good things to come out of Disney! Disney's trying to make Han Solo a good guy from the start instead of Han slowly becoming a good person throughout the original trilogy, to sum it up, Disney is removing all character development from Han. I did like Dryden Vos.
Hazbin Hotel (2019)
An incredible time
This show is amazing because itself and its sister series helluva a boss have proven that they don't need big streaming services like Netflix or Hulu to be popular. Anyways everything about this show is amazing and I personally think the best character in the series is sir pentious and that's funny because I hate puns but this one I really like. I wonder when the first episode will be released.
Adventure Time (2010)
An adventure worth watching
This show is the best thing Cartoon Network has ever made. It does funny, heartbreaking, feel good and romantic moments perfectly. Every season gets better and better and the characters are all lovable and are very well designed. The story's are intriguing, but the best episode by far is the finale. The finale was intense, heartbreaking and amazing overall and it made me so sad to see the series go, but that's what Adventure Time: Distant Lands is for.
Shazam! (2019)
The best thing to come out of DC from 2012-2019
This movie is hilarious and the character designs are great! When I first found out that this movie movie was coming out I had multiple worries: is Shazam gonna act like an adult (thankfully he acts like a child), is the villain gonna be lame (thankfully he was quite entertaining) and more. A few problems is that in order to become an incarnation of the wizard they need to be good of heart and Billy Batson is definitely not good of heart in this movie, also it was a bit slow in the beginning, but overall it is hilarious and definitely worth a watch.
