If you watch THIS movie, perhaps you'll reach some form of a conclusion, in such regard.

It's really BARELY EVEN GOOD ENOUGH FOR JUST WASTING TIME! If you find you're bored out of your skull, with absolutely nothing else to do. Even "speed watching" (i.e. "fast forwarding") isn't much help in getting through this mess.

Conclusion: It's a "same ol' same ol'" plotline we've all seen over and over again.

I wonder if any of the "actors" in this POC moved on and did anything of further consequence in the movie industry, or for that matter, Hollywood in general.

Hopefully many of them decided "acting" wasn't in their futures.

Nothing we haven't seen before.

Rather kind of been done before, numerous times. Original plots are harder to find in Hollywood (well, basically anywhere these days).

Writers and producers? Limited imaginations, likely limited budgets, etc., etc.

This movie is good for putting the brain in neutral, watching it, and letting the time pass on by.

The costuming is also rather ridiculous. The fight scenes aren't very well staged or very believable.

And I'm also supposed to believe all this stuff is considered "art"?

If you enjoy it, that's all well and good.

And the character of "Ghost"?

Laughable,.. Good grief!

Maybe some will, and some do. I'm passing on labeling or defining that aspect of things.

MOTS (More Of The Same).

Which we've all likely seen similar before.

Everyone involved in the production, needed a paycheck, to cover bill payments, buy groceries, etc., etc. Which is why this movie was produced!

SO!

Psychopath finds a victim, ensures victom is run-off the road (by him), and crashes. He then captures and locks victim in the basement, of a cabin, in the woods, in the middle of "who-the-hell-knows where?".

Cause it's no-damn-where!

Now proceeds to lightly torture his latest victim. No food, a bit of water, etc., etc.

Victim manages to escape (Certsinly the biggest part of this movie's plot-line!).

Otherwise... no movie.

Big chase through the forest now ensues.

It's a grand game of hide and seek... under very wet, miserable, cold conditions.

Too inane, even for a (supposedly) comedic movie. Very typical for an Adam Sandler production. And I'm being rather generous, rating it at two stars. Watch this if you're very bored, and have absolutely nothing better. But even worse, I'm having difficulty coming up with 600 characters for this review. Consequently I'm really not quite certain exactly why I'm bothering. It keeps telling me my review needs to have 600 characters. It has every one of 600 characters. So here's a few more to make it a proper review. And whoever's monitoring this review is incapable of counting characters. There are way more than 600 of them.

Kinda lame. Another "giant monsters, end of things as we knew them, etc. "Multi-tentacled giant squidly things" with internal flickering, glowing lighting. Wow... I'm sure the special effects, cgi, people had fun with this one.

Just a couple of episodes so far. I can't say I'm as impressed as I'd hoped. Never particularly fond of Roaring 20's stuff. At this point, we'll have to watch and see how matters go. Color me bored.

IMHO, this one's just plain bad. Terrible, really

I generally enjoy movies with Guy Pierce, that's usually.

He must've been hard up for a paycheck. Or he helped finance this one, hoping for a better payday.

The acting seems to be by a bunch of "wannabe's", and some "never were's".

And using an obvious rental van as the "armored" car? Talk about "low budget", they must've broken the "piggy bank" to fund this one!

Not impressed with Episode 1, Season 1.

The "new" Dr. Smith is a female version, and seems as reprehensible as the male version, perhaps more so. Time, and scripts, will tell that tale.

Plenty of special effects, which seems to be the way of most things these days. Plenty of CGI, of course.
