When Calls the Heart: Deep Water (2023)
I Don't Like the Lucas and Elizabeth Storyline This Season
Lucas and Elizabeth are the best parts of the show for me. Their romance is pure magic for me to watch. I loved watching their love story grow and mature in Season 9 and was looking forward to their wedding this season. But lately the two are hardly shown together and the story seems to make it appear that Elizabeth is changing her mind about marrying Lucas. Without them as a couple, Hope Valley has lost its heart, in my opinion. The "love" triangle that started in S6 appears to have reappeared again four years later in S10. I'm checking out of Hope Valley unless the storyline swings back to Lucas and Elizabeth happily in love and planning their wedding again.
The Wedding Veil Inspiration (2023)
My Favorite Couple in The Wedding Veil Series!
Emma and Paolo are my favorite couple from the The Wedding Veil series. I LOVED their first movie when they met and married, and I LOVED this sequel to their story. Their on-screen chemistry is amazing making their love story so engaging to watch. I loved Paolo's commitment to his family and the family business and how the couple dealt with their career issues. I would love to see their storyline continue in future movies!
I also loved the Lily/Matteo storyline. They both were such refreshing characters to watch, especially Lily. Their story was so realistic and also fun to watch.
A great movie that is enjoyable to view again and again!
The Wedding Veil Expectations (2023)
No Chemistry Between Peter and Avery - Peter's Accent Kept Shifting
There is no chemistry between Peter and Avery. They both came off as wooden and cold and not like two people in love. Also, the actor who played Peter wasn't professional enough to keep a Boston accent going throughout the movie. I had the same problem with the character of Peter in the first Veil movie. I was hoping his acting would improve this time around, but it didn't.
I watched the first three Veil movies, and the only one I loved was the 2nd one set in Italy. Those two leads were so much fun to watch and actually looked like two people crazy in love. Their chemistry was off the charts.
Christmas Scavenger Hunt (2019)
Actor Who Played Dustin Looks TOO OLD for Belinda
The character of Belinda looks so young and her love interest, Dustin, looked way too old for her! They really should have cast a younger actor in the role of Dustin.
My Grown-Up Christmas List (2022)
Would Have Liked it If Another Actor Had Played Luke
I have always loved the song, My Grown-Up Christmas List, and I was looking forward to the movie. But the actor who played Luke didn't seem to want to breathe life into the character. I felt he "phoned it in" and didn't really try to be a great actor in this movie. With all the other talented Hallmark actors to choose from, I wish you had chosen another of your actors to play this part.
A Tail of Love (2022)
I Loved This Movie!
I don't usually watch Hallmark movies anymore, but Chris McNally is one of my favorite actors, so I watched this one. It was excellent! I loved the storyline and the touch of mystery involved. Both characters were so likable and I could see the two falling in love as they spent time together. Indie, the dog was a star as well. Great job Hallmark! If you did more movies like this one, I would tune in to your channel again.
The Wedding Veil Legacy (2022)
My Second Favorite Movie of the Wedding Veil Trilogy
This final installment of The Wedding Veil Trilogy was a good movie. I just found it hard to believe that Nick had so much time to spend with Tracy since he was working at one restaurant and getting ready to open another one. I did like the chemistry between Nick and Tracy, but the storyline was a unbelievable to me.
The Wedding Veil Unveiled (2022)
My Favorite of the Wedding Veil Trilogy Movies
I absolutely loved this movie! The storyline was incredible, the scenery was gorgeous and the romance was thrilling to watch. I highly recommend this movie.
The Wedding Veil (2022)
The Inconsistent Boston Accent of Peter Ruined it for me
I was looking forward to this movie but was so disappointed in it. The actor who played Peter had a Boston accent in some scenes and no accent at all in other scenes. Plus, his performance wasn't very heartfelt to me. If another actor had played the role, I would rate this movie really high. But, his bad acting just ruined it for me.
When Calls the Heart: The Kiss (2021)
WCTH S8 Finale Was Epic!
I loved the S8 finale of When Calls the Heart. There were several touching scenes with a lot of the characters. I am thrilled with Elizabeth's final choice and the epic kisses the two shared. This is must-see TV!!
