Kingdom (2014)
Top ten
............tv show of all time in my opinion. It's up there with Game Of Thrones, Breaking Bad, East Bound & Down etc.... And I feel completely comfortable in saying this. Each & every character was unique & you could feel for each one(which is a tough thing to accomplish). I thought this was easily Frank Grillo's greatest role. He nailed every scene he was in. He was such a complete and utter mess. Jonathan Tucker might have pulled off one of the greatest character/acting roles in the history of television (film too). The fact that they used Deertick on their soundtrack was a plus for me seeing as how they are from my hometown of Providence RI & I booked one of their first shows ever at my bar back in like 2004. Nick Jonas's acting forced me to admire him as an actor as he played his part with absolute perfection with such a subdued yet aggressive sadness. I literally wanted to just give him a hug so many times. Paul Walker Hauser had a perfect balance of comedic yet terrifying edge to him. Matt Lauria was another one who I just wanted to hug. And now for my one issue with the show besides the obvious of it not being made available to the masses. The character of Dom played by Kirk Acevedo was so unnecessary that it almost ruined the last hall of season 3. There was no need for him whatsoever..
I Am ZoZo (2012)
I can not.....
Put into words how much I despised this thing. The guys costumes might have been the first sign that it was going to be awful. I love slow burn horror. There was no horror at all. Not even an ounce of.dread. The acting was quite possibly the worst I've ever seen. The music was absolutely ridiculous. There was no need to not only make this film but also no need to waste anyone's time. Not one ounce of talent in anyone involved in this sad excuse for a production. It should be wiped from existence & if possible from my mind. What really makes me want to slap someone, are the lying(or maybe challenged) idiots who are raving about how great it is. Shut up. Just shut up & stop lying. We maybe stupid for falling for this trash & watching it but don't think for a second that we're to believe your high rating and BS stories about how talented the director is & how this piece of trash was a brilliant work of 8mm genius. It's not. Nice try.
The Haddonfield Nightmare (2021)
WHY?!!!!!
Why did the girl in the nice house(Becca?) run to her front door the decide to run upstairs into a closet?!!!! Why did the idiot dad hit Michael with a piece a WOOD and place him in his backseat(as if getting hit with a piece of wood wood render Michael Myers incapacitated)& drive around with him not tied up at least?!!! Why did the dads gun not work? Why didn't he try it again after he knocked him unconscious with a piece of wood?!!! Why did the fat idiot sheriff pull back the slide of his gun then when confronting Michael inside, decide to fight him instead of shoot him?!!!! And where TF was his partner?!!! He got out of the car directly after Lauren ?!!!! And if the dad was so worried about Lauren & thought Michael was inside Becca's house why did he say he'd be there in 5 minutes then decide to go home? How did he know Michael would go from Becca's house to his? And WHY didn't anyone involved in this confusing mess think of these screwed up holes?!!!! Other than so many of these absolutely asinine screw ups it wasn't half bad as far as Halloween fan films go.
Dogface: A TrapHouse Horror (2021)
If only....
It were possible to euthanize a film.... It's movies like this that make me wonder, what good you could have accomplished with your money instead of wasting it on whatever this was. Sad. But then again, it's your money to waste.
