Sodom and Gomorrah in the beautiful Montana
18 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
It's no wonder Hollywood, the modern day's Sodom and Gomorrah, injected its perversion into the breathtaking scenery of Montana set to glorious music. That's how they condition people to accept this is how things are. One of the 3 brothers shows up with a fiancee and the other two start lusting after her (and she, after one of them). No decency, no respect, no nothing. This is supposed to be set in the early 20th century... and there's an implied an*l sex scene between the woman and her fiance's brother!... I understand now why these movies never sat right with me. Friendly warning: you better start noticing the way Hollywood movies are used to make degeneracy OK.

Unfunny, poorly written bore
20 May 2020
First half of the first season was watchable and actually nice, but after that this show became a series of unfunny gags enacted by people with no comedic talent. It's forced, repetitive and boring. The only funny actress is the woman who plays Lemon, but even she can't salvage this. Rachel Bilson should be cast as a supporting character at all times, she's in way over her head here. Her character is not likable enough, the "mayor" spends his days at the bar or cooking (we don't seem him work once) and the lead's love interest after season 1 is a guy whose only redeeming quality is his 'heart of gold'. There was a lot of potential for character transformation which sadly was wasted. Boring.. Not recommended.

So bad, what a waste of Amanda Bynes
29 January 2020
Amanda Bynes has good comedic timing and a knack for slapstick / physical comedy, which made the first few episodes of this show funny... but that's it. The writing changed after that and it got progressively worse.. by season 3 it had become unwatchable so I stopped. Jennie Garth isn't great at comedy and tries too hard to be cute, plus the baby voice and squealing don't help. All we have is both of them chasing after guys who are not interested and/or are pigs and/or in relationships, and no more slaptstick but rather Amanda Bynes' bratty, lying, self-centered character trying to pass off as funny. A shame.

So woke, yuk
27 May 2019
I was looking forward to some silly entertainment, Dynasty-style. So thank you, movie industry, for spoiling yet another show with an overload of phrases like "old white man" repeated five times in the first 4 minutes after which I stopped counting, references to Trump being "bad people" and so on. Yawn. I'm on the 1st epi so will keep watching but I predict jumping ship soon. Thanks Hollywood for teaching me how to think.
