Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021)
it was ok
I weren't even a fan of the first one. This 1 was better but still isn't amazing, tom hardy is what makes it not so good, he don't play brock so well and his American accent is terrible, its very over the top and gets irritating like someone said with him and venom falling out, I think they should have made these films more serious than comedic, it don't feel very exciting at all. I thought Andy Serkis would have made it great but its mediocre, I hope venom makes a worthy enemy of Spiderman in the Spiderman universe, I loved the new Spiderman film though its a perfect 20/20 film, this I would Give 6, woody was great in this film I'm a big fan of his work he never disappoints, without woody I would haver given it 5. It has some good humour, venom is very funny, there should be a TV spin off for venom but with a different actor because tom hardy's fake American accent annoys me lol I'm English by the way so no hating usually us brits can do great American accents unlike Americans doing British accents, they sound daft, they think we all speak posh but most of us have accents form our region, im from Nottingham in the UK we have an unusual accent its great lol anyway, yea not a bug fan of this was slightly disappointed, it was entertaining but felt rushed and rather short, maybe Serkis should be the next wolverine he actually looks like him from the comics, Serkis is a quality actor I'm a big fan, SERKIS I HOPE YOU SEE THIS, BE THE NEXT WOLVERINE remember who said this first, I'm Mr Pople lol.
Duncan (2020)
this film is great lol
I cant even find anything wrong with this film, its crazy AF the story is bonkers but it some how is just so entertaining and severely underrated Alexandria Payne is an amazing actress and Tinus Seaux is a also a great actor, never heard of either of them but in this film they had great chemistry, its a very dark comedy but it is done so well, ignore the bad ratings, they love boring comic book films and high budget blockbusters but the director producer and writer deserves recognition, before anybody says im part of this production f@"k off... this is probably one of the best low budget films ive seen, it dont feel low budget because its done so well and all the actors did a great job actually, i will definitely watch this film again with friends, you will enjoy it, I'm easy to please, im giving it a 10 because they had such a low budget and made a masterpiece in my eyes.
The Zeme (2021)
Its bad lol and dubbed even though everyone is english speaking :/
The acting is horrific and the plot is silly and its dubbed lol i have no idea why a film with english speaking actors would dub a film with English I DONT GET IT lol its not effective, it makes the acting seem even more worse than what it is, theres no emotion and again, WHY IS IT DUBBED? You dont dub a film where everyone speaks english anyway with english dub....
Candyman (2021)
definitely not clumsily written, very deep and complex
I dont get how someone said its clumsily written, it makes perfect sense and obviously there will be a follow up that will address why he is estranged from his mother, but it actually specifies it in the film, she did it to protect him, how can you not get that, and no character progression? Its about Anthony ffs, it progresses superbly, I hate it when people think they can be a critic but literally miss all the points and even that its set up for a follow, the lore makes a lot of sense, like its complex and amazing how more of the lore is elaborated on, ignore the guy who said its clumsy, its a very deep horror with a complex story, JUST WATCH IT, DONT BE A CRITIC AND IF YOU LOVE HORRORS WITH A STORY YOU WILL LOVE THIS HORROR, its equally as good as the original, i love how that version is used as a backstory and part of the lore, jordan peele knows exactly what hes doing, hes no fool ;) and for the effects, they blew me away and the acting is amazing, its a rather fast paced version too and you only need to se one characters progression, he progresses into the next Candyman and thats what the story is about, so tony todd can take a rest and someone new thats young can take the reins and be the new man with the hook, ITS CLEVER WRITING.
No Man of God (2021)
that is ted bundy
Luke Kirby who plays Bundy deserves an Oscar, everything he does in this amazing film is EXACTLY like Bundy, his mannerisms, the way he speaks, his voice, and he even looks like bundy, the facial expressions, im just in shock because it gave me chills, i think its as close as you can get to visualizing the interviews that Bill does with him that we never got to see in real life, its so chilling and real, Elijah wood is one of my all time favourite actors and he also deserves an oscar, hes amazing, i love robert patrick too playing an agent again which he just pkays perfectly, nobody gives him enough credit for the x files as agent john dogget, hes so underrated and that new film hes in about the hazing accident i thinks its called rushed, just wow anyway, they play such realistic characters, its not like watching a film at all. To say there were no murders this film gave me chills just watching luke kirby BE BUNDY, dont go into this film expecting a horror, think of it as the lost tapes and kirby being bundy i guess, because he friggin is bundy, 100000/10.
Ben-Hur (2016)
ignore those negative reviews...
I watched this in cinema in 3D, it was a great experience, ive never seen the other version, and people calling this a remake when i find out its actually not, its more of a retelling, the effects are something to marvel at, the acting is beautiful and the story is also, i really do not like critics, they are so negative and so many people nowadays wants to be a critic, just watch the film, im pretty much betting these critics only talents are being critical because they are weirdo fans of the original, ACCEPT IT YOU WEIRDOS, THE FIL M IS GREAT, stop being so negative, it seems they actually get angry, ITS A FILM FFS lol rant over lol oh its a review also, yea amazing film, watch it and do not read the negative comments, they just moan about how we didnt need a remake lol not actual reviews basically, just moaning lol.
Loki (2021)
im just reviewing for the 4 episodes that i have seen so far and wow
So far ive watched 4 episodes, its perfect, Sophia who plays Sylvie is from where i live in Nottingham UK too, so rare to see great talent from robin hood country because its full of gang crime here, well I digress, i love time travel and things to do with the multiverse and loki is my favourite character, im even called Loki and I'm also really mischievous, the universes irony I guess😈 cant wait until this show all pans out, I have nothing bad to say about it and i doubt it will get bad because already by each episode its just so good😈, so before anybody says i should review by each episode, no, thats just a waste of time, instead I will just update my review when i watch the rest of it, but so far its flawless, and I imagine it will remain flawless until the end.
Akilla's Escape (2020)
THIS SHOULD BE A 10/10 FILM
Im going to keep this short and sweet, if you like gangster films with an emotional story and great acting and soundtrack, its for you, it gave me Goosebumps.
Open Your Eyes (2021)
actually a really a good film
I did not expect this film to be good, but it was, it caught me by surprise and the big twist i loved, not many people are in this film, pretty sure theres just a handful, never seen them in any other films before but they did a great job, its confusing, also a little slow but i like these type of films, its hard to classify this as an actual horror, it has some elements, more of a psychological scifi horror thriller lol its a bit of it all with drama too, you may have to classify the genre yourself, i never expected it to be what it was, it feels a lil like dark water but its nothing like it, I'm trying really hard not to give anything away lol its well acted, good stpry, pretty much a mind f@ck, just a tad slow but like i said i dont mind that, with all this pandemic nonsense happening and big budget films flopping hard cus everybody now thinks they are a critic which is really annoying becasue that misleads you into not wanting to watch the film, nowadays ignore the reviews and make your own mind up AND STOP BEING A CRITIC lol enjoy the film its really good 8/10.
R.I.P.D. (2013)
just a great underrated fantasy scifi comedy
All I'm going to say is, compared to movies today this comedy based on publications by dark horse comics, its spot on, 100% funny not one bit boring, everything you expect from Reynolds and Bridges. They make a great team, watch if you already haven't.
