if you do not think a lot about it.

Costumes, ideas(at least some) - good enough to keep watching.
b u t
the craze:
music(?) not fitting to scenes, rhythmically and style.
i loved Nico - but it did not support the scene for me, as most of the music did not! at least it was Nico....
though i liked the songs. some.
plot - where are you going?
which character to sympathize with? i got lost and i am desinterested because of that lack of sympathy in the continuation after the first season. well i like that witch circle and the gender-change idea. maybe with more focus or insight in luxors resality and acting - (it is similar to got-boy character - but there i stayed curious on his fate.
it looks like a cliffhanger with loose ends, and, if you like what is going on, the plot's tension leaves you sweaty and maybe with an oh-my-god-why?
but that is the basic text of the title song. quite a jammering poor-me-song.
so if it is a coming of age story, i assume that she will end up as s fanatic cultist follower of the witch-craft-practicing-monk who i assume will tutn out as her father.
as the main charactrrss ends up with demon eyes , she may become a dark witch ...
oh my god, i am so deep in it already, but no thanks i cannot continue with season 2 this series is not for me.

wow in our future we are as degenerated as our media-landscape already is now...

a non-utopian sci-fi series ...
lots of potential in the ideas, sets ...
great cast. characters, roles,
but leaves just a taste of bitterness
the plot is awfull, focussed on destruction.drama.dilemma.hatred.adrenalin...

... I like how the actors enjoy their show .... Some great jokes inside... Needs a philosophic open mind to go with the story .... Is for star trek fans. Metaphores of the rise and fall of a Guru - but this one takes responsibility (in a way) ... ...on the other hand it is again the kirk- way shoot and the problem is gone ... But it never was kirk all alone... Here we see the family-enterprise ... And UHURA....hurra Do not expect too much action - but there is enough in it! My intentio? ;-) Pumping up the vote over 6? I... hate votings ... I will enjoy the film - again - and it is nice to watch with friends and fans - that is my vote.
Made me feel good!

My wife and me went to see this wonderful movie during our holidays in Monterey, California. We were in a relaxed mood already and this film added to our good feelings.
I am a huge Fan of the Danny Kaye Movie with the same title. I do see this movie as a different approach to the story.
And this new movie is so well done. Wow - Mr. Stiller, you did well! Some people review this movie with "remake"-eyes. Please do not. Some people don't like Ben Stoller. We do.
But even if you saw Ben Stiller before - in this film he is amazing. And this is a very personal statement.... :-)
We loved the choice of music and enjoyed every single second of the performances, the wonderful photography, amazing special effects, comedy (never over the top), We loved Sean Penn and especially the scenes and chemistry they had in their scenes....and felt so at ease, natural? Dito for the beautiful female cast - Mrs. MacLaine, Kristen Wiig and Kathryn Hahn - enjoyed every moment of their performance. Just grateful for having seen this movie -
I would only recommend it to people who like to "zone out" a little sometimes. Isn't that what movies are meant to ... ?

i saw this movie the first seconds the voice of T.R. took me on to the journey - well i disliked the big glued thumbs in the beginning, but the absurd humor it and the gordious looks of both sissy actors - i do not know who played the young her - but she was great and so was uma!!! -
the two other people who where in the cinema went out after about half an hour, i was with a friend - and it is always a test to watch a movie i like good with one of my friends - and, we both enjoyed it too the maximum - hilarious laughs - sadness about the "realistic police- normalos" . both of us fans of T.Robbins books...i found it well done - thought, that Robbins would also approve, though i do not have an idea if he likes the film or not...
i would love to see the cut out stuff - i heard that gus v. sand had to take out lots of scenes because of the first-time viewers (or the producers???) well still it is an artistic movie. much too short though... it is one of my all time favorites - and i am aware of it that the majority of people can't stand that kind of movie and assume that people who enjoy that films are whatever they think .......what a pity. hopefully there will come the day that there will be a DVD with the full material - hoping to see more of crispian, keanu - expecting to see her baby and all
