The story lacks focus, and the main character is too overpowered. There is no challenge or struggle for his growth as a character. The first episode had many potential directions for the plot, but by episode 7 it becomes boring because every episode is similar, and the main character does not spend much time in the other world. The action scenes in the real world and his school life are pointless and dull. I was expecting more from this story, but it disappointed me.

I also noticed that all the girls he meets follow a similar pattern, which makes the anime feels fake. I hope the anime develops a more solid story, but at this rate, it will take at least another season to fix this mess.

Update: After watching solo leveling, I can say "I have watched this anime if it could've been a 10 star"

It is a bit eccentric when comes to camera angle but otherwise story is in flow and as I'm watching (ep-13). I am not phasing out.

You can watch especially if you are shot on list of anime to watch.

Just like naruto if you can skip the filler, This anime is one of the good ones.

In the starting anime is not that great but as show goes on it will improve so, If you are just starting then don't stop watching it till ep 30th, because by then you will be hooked. You can also use online website to identify which episodes are filler.
