I saw it at the LA Gay & Lesbian Film Festival [aka, Outfest] last night. What a tremendous accomplishment Mr. C. Jay Cox has shown us! The script is funny, poignant, and full of hearts (and souls). The entire cast was outstanding especially the two radiantly charming leads--Mr. Wesley Ramsey (a mix of Dean Cain & Ryan Reynolds) and Mr. Steve Sandvoss (a Ryan Phillippe look-alike). Although some parts of the story were felt a bit forced [hence, unlikely believable], it truly is a crowd pleaser. The last time I saw an utterly feel-good gay-themed movie was Mr. Miles Swain's "The Trip" (exactly one year ago). I hope this one will get released very soon (it's heard that Jan. 04 the target date).

Convincing performances from both male leads, Larry Sullivan and Steve Braun, make this film fresh and watchable from the beginning to the end. The honest and positive portrayals of gay men in the 70s and 80s (major storyline, I believe) only manifest how talented and intelligent the first-time scribe/director, Miles Swain, is. It makes me laugh [a lot], sob [a little], reminisce [the past], and ponder [the future]. I simply adore this film; it'll always be a treasure in my heart.

After seeing the disastrous "A.I.: Artificial Intelligence," this truly is a breath of fresh air--satirical and funny. Director, Gabriela Tagliavini, has concocted a genuinely smart storyline which is full of mockeries and (did I say?) a twist. The wild selections of costumes and make-ups actually have very contemporary looks, which suggest that female domination has gradually evolved (we don't have to wait 'till Year 2030 to find out). Best of all is Mr. Ryan Hurst. He renders such a comical performance that I think the next Jim Carrey is in the making.
