Bodyguard (2018)
Easy to watch, nothing spectacular but good
It had its ups and downs. The story is pretty straightforward and not very surprising (whoever ever read a book about similar "assasination" and "conspiracy" thriller would see the obvious patterns and wanna be surprises) but the acting was good. All in all - would not hurt to watch but definitely not a "must see this again" kind of thing for me.
Formula 1: Drive to Survive (2019)
Great but the quality declined in Season 3
I used to be a big F1 fan in the era of Mika and Michael but stopped watching years ago. I did not have much expectations, but I found myself binge watching the first season. Absolutely stunning documentary with the "hidden camera/behind the scenes/unscripted" feeling. S2 was good as well. However season 3 felt like a normal documentary. Those two annoying commentators were given more and more screentime, so it suddenly felt narrated and scripted like hell (like seriosly, film crew being able to be on a sponsors meeting?) And that George Floyd BS at the end of last episode was totally unnecessary and drifted the attention from Formula 1 to politics.
Too Hot to Handle (2020)
Funny host making fun of stupid people
The plot - nice idea.
The contestants - dumb as a vacuum cleaner (and not the robotic type).
The narrator - ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! She was making fun of these dumb nuts in the most cruel, spot on way and in a form that neither of them will ever be able to understand.
You're not supposed to feel related to them. You're not supposed to feel for them. It's just a bunch of gorgeous looking shallow people that the narrator is making fun of.
Sure there were flashes of some deeper meaning, like a guy admitting he was bullied as a child; and there was this pseudoromantic soap opera let's-make-it-15-minutes-longer-than-necessary finale; but the show was funny to binge watch for me.
