Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas (1977)
one of the greats of Christmas stories
Alright. You like Muppet's?Well then you'll like these guys. The movie is an original classic, and you just have to love the otters. They're so darn cute.So what if you see the strings? They're freaking puppets! Most people making a low-budget film didn't have the funds to edit those out in 1977.But the movie is one to love.It shows us what people will do anything for a good Christmas, and then how crushed they are when it is ruined. But Emit & Ma Otter seem to forget how they lost, and then Ma is given the job of a lifetime...even though they've been dirt poor without Pa.It seems that the characters are thinking the same things as the movie goes on.If you haven't seen this movie,i highly suggest you watch it because of it's originality.
Jurassic Park (1993)
Amazing classic with amazing
This movie was a truly amazing motion picture.Lets first begin with the amazing special effects.Great acting for that time, especially having to "act" to be chased by dinosaurs. The plot is a very interesting, with great screen writing and better acting to match it.Many people also comment on how one of the greatest directors in history directed this piece of art. Also, their are dinosaurs.I believe this is the only movie that has succeeded with dinosaurs.Seriously, how many movies have been good that have dinosaurs in them! And don't you say junk like "Dinotopia"!Also, marketing was very good for this movie and I'm sure that Universal will continue soon with Jurassic Park IV.Keep going! myfilm83
Open Season (2006)
Overall a stolen plot
alright, this was an OK movie. But the idea of talking animals has been wildly overused. Also, the movie had somewhat of a "Shrek" theme. Its the 'im not going to be your friend' but then at the end of the movie the mood changes to 'oh ill be your friend i love you' But while it did have its funny parts (the otter using a chainsaw/right after i saw the Texas Chainsaw Massacre) (the Scottish squirills) ("well need your nuts!" "And your acorns too!") Don't worry, for those of you who saw those lines don't worry, because it was probably, like many children movies, overly advertised on TV and sold cheap toys at Burger King and McDonalds. But like I mentioned before, the movie did have a Shrek kind of feel to it.
