Dhollywood achieving new heights

You always fall short of words to describe the work of Pratik Gandhi. Don't write him off as a one show hit. Nope, he is here to stay and this series proves so.

Side actors did a brilliant job aswell and really contributed to the show rather than a one man show.

As an NRI, those village scenes really make me miss India and the story is very simple until the last episode. They've left us in a cliffhanger!

This show truly deserves a season 2!

A good family entertainer
13 May 2021
Warning: Spoilers
A good webseries to watch although I felt it was too short and rushed. If it were around 20 minutes per episode series it would be better.

Nonetheless, Malhar Thakkar aced his Carefree and usual on screen character and Puja Joshi was impressive.

However the actors did a great job on their own, as a pair, they were less impressive. Their arguments were really not convincing except for the Malhar jokes on the shorts which really brought a little depth to his character. Chetan Daiya did a good job too.

It's a great watch with the family nonetheless!

Simple yet well executed
8 May 2021
The actors played out their roles impressively.

However, the movie felt a bit too slow and predictable...

If you are bored, give it a watch.

A really good watch to overcome boredom
8 May 2021
If you are a fan of the Saif from the mid 2000s like me, you will really enjoy watching this movie. It reignites glimpses from movies like Salam Namaste, Tara Rum Pum and Hum Tum.

It's a great job, Tabu's character was just weird but a good watch nonetheless!

Slightly overhyped
8 May 2021
At the base, the story is kind of boring. But the cinematography and the scenes from the slums add a great load of interest into the film.

Ranvir adapted well to this role and Alia seems to just get better and better.

I think the banger songs that were released earlier builded up the hype and did some justice to the hype.

Would reccomend it!

This has got to be the worst movie ever for Ayushmann and Amitabh Ji
8 May 2021
The story is not interesting at all. Ayushmann tries really hard to give some life to his character but evidently this was just a bad signing.

I think Ayushmann signed it to share screentime with Amitabh tbh.

Would recommend you skip it...

Is there an Anti Nepotistic Raid in this review?
8 May 2021
The movie was actually a great watch with the family. It seemed a little too stretched but never to the point I'd stop watching the movie like Zero and thugs of hindostan.

Arjun Kapoor seemed to be improving with his acting and Kriti Sanon was elegant!

It missed on a good music album but certainly shouldn't be blindly rated 1 Star.

Cringemania

This is probably the worst Amazon Prime show I've come across. I don't know how they could even release such a show.

It was just fake and unfulfilling. You could clearly see some people smile whilst being ignored by the judges and the props were terrible.

If they even released stand ups of each of the participants, they would have made more revenue. Terrible.

ABSOLUTE GOLD

This movie had literally been my favourite movie as a kid.

A total family entertainer and it was genuine comedy. Absolutely perfect acting from all the villains. The baby was also amazing!

Would watch it any day again!!!

Retains Childhood Memories
30 March 2021
You'll probably like the movie if you used to watch Tom and Jerry as a kid.

That's the thing, like, not love.

The other characters are unnecessary but nonetheless, Micheal Pena and the lead female actress do a pretty good job.

It's irritating to see cartoons and real humans in one movie.

A one time watch with the family.

Kick-Ass (2010)

Could have been much better
21 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I really feel they could have probably made Kick Ass look greater in the end.

His climb to fame from a nerd was kind of a rush and even after becoming a hero I felt he lacked the personality of one.

If they made this movie rather based on Hit Girl I could have maybe even given a 9. Hit Girl aced her role in simple terms.

I feel Red Mist was also a bit hesitant as an actor and the end was just rushed although the climax scene was good with different weapons being used.

Still think the movie could have done way better!

Another example of how good Gujarati movies are getting nowadays
14 February 2021
It's a new storyline to the Gujarati film industry and both the lead actors have done a great job!

Only con is the movie is slow but it will manage to make you hold on

OVER RATED
14 February 2021
This movie is over rated. Not one of Pratik Gandhi's best works...

Jackie Shroff attracted alot of audiences as Gujjus love him.

There were some comic scenes but the story doesn't make sense at all.

Worth a one time watch but not too impressive

A great Rom-Com
14 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
The story is predictable once again but the actors have carried it out to perfection.

Malhar and Deeksha are stars of the Gujju film industry and they did an amazing job.

It's a story of two contrasting mindsets who fall in love and it's a greast family entertainer!

A good family entertainer
14 February 2021
Manoj Joshi holds up this film together. His comic timing is no less than those of Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever to be honest.

Back to the movie, it is a predictable storyline throughout but good dialogues and comic scenes make it worth a watch with the family.

Side actors were average

Not upto the potential

I watched it for Malhar

He has good acting skills and he showcased them here. But there was under average acting from support cast.

Story was something new to the Gujarati film industry but nothing new to India.

Predictable but pleasing
14 February 2021
It is a Rom-com which is always appreciated by Gujarati audiences.

Maulik got a main characters role for the first time and he didn't dissapoint. However, nothing over the moon too. He carried his role well.

Aarohi Patel and Deeksha Joshi are the queens of Gujju cinema. Never disappoints the audience.

It's family friendly and you can watch it with them!

A great addition to the growing Gujarati film industry!
14 February 2021
Rom-coms are a tried and tested method of attracting Gujarati audiences and this movie doesn't disappoint.

Pratik Gandhi and Deeksha Joshi play great roles and good job by the supporting actresses too.

The story is a bit too obvious nothing new but the simplicity with which this movie is made is what makes it worth a watch!

Epitome of OTT platform content
14 February 2021
Scam 1992 has given Bollywood a star under the name of Pratik Gandhi who was already a star in the Gujarati Film Industry.

A must watch, if your family is fine with cuss words, which were hsrdly there until the last few episodes then watch it with them!

I Can't Believe They Put It Off Air
14 February 2021
SAB TV over the past few years are really doing the wrong things.

Firstly Badi Durr Se Aaye Hai and now Bhakharwadi.

Both these shows were way better than TMKOC nowadays.

You have to watch this show with your family!!!!

The last 2 seasons were horrible but attracted more viewers. It's all screaming nowadays Whenever I turn on the TV to colours during Bigg Boss time it's just screaming. Takes away family time too

And no celebrities worth watching.

Could Have Been Better
23 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Story was the only thing lacking.

Sunny Kaushal acted brilliantly and so did most of the crew.

But the grandpa with the gun in the end was seriously stupid and messed up the whole story.

Still worth a watch!
