Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022)
Best Minions movie since Minions (2015)!
I came into this film expecting another sub-par movie showing Gru and the Minions, however I was treated to the best experience in my life. In the middle of the film, a character by the name of 'Kid Named Finger' appears. This character goes on to create genius inventions and hacks Gru's work and inventions. This single character is about the most creative, real and funny character ever created, something that every single person who was on the set MUST have been proud of! I felt truly special to live at the same time as the writers, producers, and directors of the show. Later on, Finger mentions that the Sinister Six are 'in the game' and that they will punished for their involvement in the Albuquerque criminal underworld if they don't sober up. This causes high amounts of laughter from the audience, something that we should have a lot more of as this film goes on! To conclude, it would be stupid of me to say this film does not stand on its own without the Minions, as they are truly the lifeblood of the "The Minions" franchise. Overall I would call this film a near perfect movie, I would say that those who have not yet watched "The Minions" animated show will most likely not enjoy this film as it is extremely different. But once a viewer is brought into the intense lore of "The Minions," they will thoroughly enjoy this film.
I believe that even Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg will stand in awe and shock at the sheer glory of this cinematic masterpiece and its many overarching achievements.
Better Call Saul Presents: Slippin' Jimmy (2022)
Sliptastic and Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This show is absolutely great. In episode 1 we are introduced to a thrilling character by the name of Finger who becomes very important. This show then gets bold with its subject material, and shows Slippin Kimmy attacking Slippin Jimmy. This leads to a shootout in a Wendy's, which ends with the kid named Finger sacrificing himself for Slippin Jimmy and killing Slippin Kimmy. After this, episode 3 begins with an Among-Us themed party for all the coolest kids. It was great. I haven't finished the show yet, but it is amazing so far.
Alone for Christmas (2013)
Genocidal Dogs that belong in the Hague
This movie is absolutelt phenomenal. The end scene is, and I am not joking nor lying for attention, a wide shot of the living room with three dead burglars. Home Alone violence is kicked up times 10.
The first burglar is, and I have no idea how this is true, drowned in the shower.
The second burglar, who looks like Thom Yorke, is lit on fire and then hung over the fireplace like Benito Mussolini.
The third is killed via electricity from a toys set, and this is thrown against the wall with a scene indicating the noise of neck snapping.
All three are dead in a wide shot at the end, and I must say I enjoyed it. Truly one of the best movies I have ever seen. DO NOT put this in front of kids for the love of God. Charcoal burnt Thom Yorke is enough to scare a grown man.
