Fallout (2024)
A fantastic ride!
The people leaving negative reviews on this...good grief. You must hate everything. This show is fun, gory, hilarious and completely engaging.
The characters are great, the settings immersive, and the storyline is compelling. I love that they gave a backstory to the Vault-TEC character. As someone who really enjoyed playing Fallout 4, this was a total treat, and if I may be so bold, probably the best video game adaptation to date.and that's coming from someone who really loved The Last of Us.
Sit back, snack on some Cram and Sugar Bombs, pop the top on a Nuka Cola and enjoy this fun show.
Bravo!!
The Consultant (2023)
I've waited years for a Bentley Little adaptation!
The people writing bad reviews have clearly never read a Bentley Little novel. He is one of a kind, and granted, it's not for everyone, nor for the faint of heart.
This is definitely misclassified as a comedy, I'd call it dark comedy or absurdist horror. Either way, it's something different. And I can't resist Cristoph Waltz.
The performances are great, and the show does a great job of giving the same feeling as the books. Disbelief, horrified amusement, and a creeping sense of foreboding.
For those who enjoy this series, check out Bentley Little's other novels. There's a ton of them and they are all in this crazy, shocking style.
Three Pines (2022)
Fantastic!
Just watched the first 2 episodes and I'm hooked. Great acting, great storyline. Important message about the apathy regarding missing, endangered and murdered indigenous people.
The scenery is literally breathtaking and so immersive, the winter setting is so perfect for a viewing during the holidays. Yes, the content is dark but it's done incredibly well.
Seems like each 2 episodes will be a little plot of its own and I love that idea. Alfred Molina is fantastic as always, his character has some really beautiful dialogue in this show and he delivers it all perfectly. Can't wait to see all the other episodes!
The Tomorrow War (2021)
Pure summer escapism!
Fun, exciting, sweet and great light entertainment. More like this!
Don't Let Go (2019)
Very good film with heart
This was a great movie. Reminded me a lot of Frequency, which is one of my favorites. Great performances all around, and kept me on the edge of my seat, with a lot of heart too. Well done!
The Rhythm Section (2020)
Snooze fest
I love both Jude Law and Blake Lively but this movie was incredibly slow and boring. Even the dialogue was quiet and monotone throughout the entire thing. Disappointing.
