Ghosts of Christmas Always (2022)
This one is a Christmas Classic!
This movie works on so many levels--the humor, the fun, the relationships, the message of love, loss, and family. (The alcohol use in the movie was totally unnecessary as the movie is even more powerful and meaningful without it.) My wife and I have seen Ghost of Christmas Always several times and we're eager to see it again. It makes you really root for the characters; you can feel their yearnings and struggles. You might want to have a kleenex or two ready but it's worth it. This movie leaves you with a great feeling about what's important in life. Pop some popcorn and sit back with your family for a very, VERY ENJOYABLE movie. They did a great job on this one. I think it will become a yearly, Christmas must-see classic. Great job to all involved!
A Christmas Movie Christmas (2019)
Enjoy the spoof and so much more!
Yes, this movie is a spoof on Hallmark Christmas cliches, watch it with that in mind and you will totally enjoy the first half of it. But then it becomes a movie within a movie within a movie. Gramm-gramms is a lot of fun as are the others. Brant purposefully acts like the gingerbread cookies he makes. Watch it, also, with the background knowledge that Brant and Kimberly Daugherty fell in love during the making of this movie and got married in real life. This movie kind of grows on you and there is a lot of sweet emotion mixed in with the fun. I say great job to all involved and thank you for making a wholesome movie! Enjoy the show!
Timeless Love (2019)
They hit it out of the ballpark with this one!
Congratulations to the director, writers, cast, and crew. (When will the soundtrack and DVD be available? Yes, please!) The storyline is an interesting one: a woman-still in a coma resulting from a car accident-experiences the joys and love of family life, only to lose it all when she awakens. The consequent loneliness she feels as she tries to deal with returning to normal, single life is apparent and moving. The first time she meets her "future" husband in person and shakes his hand, you can see her longing for what she has lost and longs to find again. The music added tremendously to the movie, bringing home the emotions spot-on. The subtle, humorous parts are fun and work well. This movie takes you through a very powerful spectrum of emotions, from love to loss to admiration to recognition and to "timeless, growing appreciation and sweet, enduring love." Enjoy the journey!
