Extreme Homes (2012)
Refereshingly simple showcasing of unquine and beautiful homes.
If you have a passion for the unique and diverse combined with a love of places we charmingly refer to as "home"; then you'll probably love this show.
I adore this show. Its simple, basic and to the point. It is a pretty basic showcasing of the homes, letting them speak for themselves. Often and most appreciated, their homeowners, designers and architects help in this showcasing speaking upon the properties, creation, reasoning history and purpose.
There's literally something for everyone in this show. I don't think anything that could be considered a home hasn't been touched upon. From every corner of the world as well. I haven't seen one from Antarctica yet however. Haha. From mansions to tiny homes, from traditional and contemporary to modern and quirky, from natural to industrial, from restored to re-purposed, from the most lavished and famed to the most frugal and minimal, all these homes share one thing in common, their characteristic nature to be out of the norm....to be uncommon.
Defiance: Where the Apples Fell (2015)
No Trail?
Wow, really, no trial? Just a draconian conviction and sentencing? Datak is indeed a POS whose karma is in the red and will hopefully get whats coming to him, he is however still clearly useful to the town (this is naturally where, penance, punishment and redemption should come in as any talented writer should know) and deserving of a trial of a fair trail. Maybe Defiance isn't worthy of saving if its politics are just as harsh, rash and unbalanced as him. Of course what can one expect from a SyFy original? Always lacking in too many departments. Always great with concepts indeed, but terrible with execution. Still loyal, thirsty and easily pleased fans will lap it up; leaving the rest of viewers with a shred of reasonable criticism with a hesitance to give the show a rating anything other then mediocre at best. #justsaying
