Seriously?
8 May 2023
Why does everyone of these cheesy disaster movies have the same, lame, storyline? A pending disaster, a family with issues, a hero to save the world. Then when the disaster is over, no matter where the family members are in the world, they wind up together, unscathed, and all but skip off hand-in-hand into the sunset? As with most of these lame movies, you can guess in the first 30 minutes who will survive and who won't. Why can't Hollywood come up with a realistic ending? End the movie the way it would end in real life, not every movie has to have a happy, lame, predictable, unrealistic ending. Wake up Hollywood.

Enough already
17 July 2020
Was in the mood for a scary movie. I decided to give this one a try. Big Mistake. I lasted less than five minutes. First off the Lutz family did not live in the house for two years. Then some sleazy girl is getting sodomized over the bathroom sink and five seconds later another one is showing off her breasts. I can only hope the four people in the first five minutes all die. Who makes this garbage anyway? And do these so called filmmakers really think this will advance their career?

Interesting but
3 February 2020
Started watching this series and wonder, as I do about all these types shows, why do they only investigate at night? I know from experience that spirits come out in the daytime as well. And why in almost every episode is there a spirit who wants to kill people or make people kill people? And why are there Never any nice spirits? Not everyone who passed is evil.

Really??

The only good thing about this movie has to be the main credits! Otherwise, go watch asphalt dry, it's much more entertaining. The acting was ridiculously stiff, the two main characters couldn't have been more cardboard if they'd tried. It amazes me how movies like this get the green light and how actresses such as the two in this movie, get work.

This was a disaster movie - A TRUE DISASTER OF A MOVIE
15 October 2015
Why and how do these kind of films ever get made? This one was not in the least suspenseful or exciting. It was ridiculously predictable and I knew in the first 10 minutes who would live, who would die, who was getting a divorce, would come together and after disaster hits, find their daughter walking down the road in the middle of the night in the Angeles National Forest and they would live happily ever after. Seriously Hollywood, disasters do NOT always have a happy ending, how about a disaster movie that is even somewhat close to reality? I miss the Irwin Allen disaster movies where you got to know and care about the characters and were shocked or delighted when they lived or died. There was no one to care about in this film and the only "10" about the film was simply the title.

What a waste of time

Talk about "Bloopers!"

1 - it's pouring down rain and windy and they show a news lady in the middle of the storm and funny thing, no umbrella and yet she's perfectly dry even though it is pouring rain on top of her.

2 - Lightning strikes and starts a forest fire. A woman and her son are about 50 yards from the fire and smoke. The husband pulls up in his truck about 5 minutes later and there is no fire, no smoke, the sun is shining and all is beautiful. Quite literally two minutes later the sky is dark, they are almost completely surround by fire, smoke and embers everywhere.

3 - One second the sky is black and there's lightning, winds and horrible weather yet 2 seconds later, the sun is shining, the sky is clear, no clouds, no wind and 2 seconds later - death defying doom is upon them.

4 - SEVERAL times it is black clouds, pouring rain and in the same breath, it is pouring rain and the sun is shining brightly.

5 - Casper is running, the front of his tee shirt drenched with sweat and literally in the same scene, his tee-shirt is perfectly dry, he turns around and it's partially wet again from sweat, then 2 seconds later all dry.

6 - why oh why whenever Casper and/or others were running, they had flashlights glaring even though where they were running had the lights on?

Unbelievably ridiculous
27 July 2014
I am only 21 minutes into this movie and already there are more holes than pound of Swiss cheese. For instance: A massive storm, the boat is rocking all over the place, people scrambling for cover, big waves, the whole nine yards. One man falls over board into a perfectly calm, what resembles a black bottom swimming pool. Later they're in the kitchen of the boat - everything on the shelves and counters are in perfect order, like they've not been touched at all. Not too mention, the sky is black, thunder crashing, winds blowing and yet strangely on the deck of the ship, the sun is shining and there is no sign of even a mild breeze anywhere. And the acting - WHERE do they get these people that play in these horrible, boring, ridiculous, so called disaster movies.

A complete waste of time
13 November 2012
Warning: Spoilers
The Hindenburg has always fascinated me and I loved the 1975 version and was hoping this version would be equally as good. Boy was I wrong. It must have been dubbed as I can't believe real actors could ever be so monotoned and cardboard sounding. The lead actor was over bearing, annoying and hard to watch. Even Greta Scacchi, whom I love, was totally wasted in this one. I thought it was most amusing that the lead character gets beaten to a pulp, cleans up, has sex and walks out of the room without a scratch on him - amazing! I also think when a movie is set in 1937, the music throughout should reflect the time period - this one was way off. The crash effects were amazing and probably the best part of the movie. I only wish I'd read the other reviews before I bought the DVD online.
