Road House (2024)
Pure indulgence
Honestly, I was expecting much and the only reason I watched the movie was because of Jake. I thought he'd add some serious acting and elevate the film from popcorn to drama. But, that was not the case. He added sex appeal and eye popping, candy. Wow!! I've never thought of him this way. Never associated sexy with Jake G. But boy did he deliver. Everyone around him was mediocre at best so the budget was all him and of course he's a good actor, he added the actor to acting. However, he looks amazing, sounds amazing, pretty sure smells amazing. Ladies this one is for us... me. Inbetween the cheezy fight screnes there's some beautiful shots of Jake and his incredible body.
The film is entertaining and as you'd expect. What I didn't expect was Jake!!! 😍 More please!
The Gentlemen (2024)
Brilliant and intelligent
Loved the series. So many twists and turns and written for the intelligent audience.
The characters are amazing. It's almost Tarantino like but without or the unneeded violence. However, the violence is definitely there, just not over done.
Loved it. Watch and enjoy. You won't regret. It's funny, unique, smart, clever and very entertaining. It has moments of fantasy.
Netflix haven't had anything good for a long time. I so happy to see they are picking up tv worthy series again. They definitely didn't go wrong with this one. I hope this is a sign of good things to come.
Enjoy and demand more!!
Napoleon (2023)
Exceptional
I'm confused by the terrible review. As a European, I'm used to intelligent films about the importance of our history.
I thought I knew Napoleon from my history classes but I didn't. This films has lifted so much mystery around this incredible general.
The sets, costumes, actors and filmography are exceptional and worthy of 10 stars.
This is a wonderful film. If you don't like history or learning about cultures and how the modern world was founded then you should stick to CSI.
Its important. It's brilliant and it's our world history. I wasn't bored for a second. I felt informed, entertained and a bit more French 🇫🇷 afterwards! Viva La ...
Lola (2024)
Terrible
It's quite obvious that all the good reviews come from the US and are not true reviews. Probably paid to add good reviews. If this girl was talented and Daddy should invest to make her princess dreams come true, I'd be all in but she's not. Her writing her acting is terrible. This would never be released if her father wasn't rich. Don't waste your time.
There are amazing talented females who she should invest in and stop trying to be talented. Invest in a real film writer. Become a producer but don't stick yourself in front of us and actually expect us to take your seriously.
I'm sorry but go back to shopping and taking selfies. That's it girl.
The Voyeurs (2021)
Enjoying
The two main actors and the most annoying characters ever and there voices!!!!! Completely unrealistic and super rubbish!. Older more worldly characters would have been so much better. I had to mute the TV. I don't know the actress but she sounds like a 5 year old on speed.
The Nest (2020)
Beautiful
I didn't want it to end! This is a fine wine and you want to keep sipping. Love the references to the 80's. Its spot on and reminded me of my younger years. Gorgeous film and I am SO glad I didn't take reference from these idiotic bad reviews. LOVED IT. If you've got a brain, and you might remember the 80's, watch the wonderful film and enjoy.
You Should Have Left (2020)
disappointing
I was so looking forward to this film but it did not deliver.
Sulphur and White (2020)
Beautiful moving film
This is heartbreaking but a must see. Fantastic take on the era too. Music is brilliant and the acting first class. Love it.
She's in Portland (2020)
Gorgeous movie
Took me back to my first road trip in California after University. Stunning scenery, music on point. I think you need to have lived a little to appreciate the storyline. I loved it. I felt like I was on the journey myself. Wish they has more films!!
