Forst (2024)
It could haave been three episodes.
By the end of the second episode I just wanted it to end.
Everyone behaves like idiots, gratuituous sex scenes, plot that stop making any sense, and an ending so strange that will let you beg not having watched it at all.
It says it is based on a novel, and I guess the novel was good enough to make it to TV, and the writers just ruined it, I don't know what else to think.
Anyway, some of the cinematography is cool to watch, but lots are just weird.
Scenes seem to be missing or lost during edition, characters are suddenly put in places without explanation. I can't think of anything else to write, I had high hopes and ended up extremely bored.
Onisciente: Don't forget that I'll keep my eyes on you (2020)
The ending makes no sense
The "firewall" that Nina installed is what is giving the villain access to everything, why don't they just go an replace it? That would cut her off.
Overall, it is not bad, but at least they could have asked someone who knows about tech. The SATA connectors don't seem very futuristic.
The confrontation with the killer is weird, a professional that will tell them everything just because? Instead of adding sex scenes that don't serve a purpose, try to come up with a better way to have the main characters find out how their father was killed.
The other thing is that sometimes they act like the drone is not there, having dialogues that would trigger a warning from the drones.
Anyway, the drones are also stupid. The person they monitor is killed and they fail to report it? If that guy had a domestic accident, then the drone is useless.
It is not bad to pass the time on a rainy day, but certainly not looking forward to a second season.
Hack My Home (2023)
Entertaining, but that's it.
Except I guess for the first episode, the rest of the "hacks" are just throw away all your garbage, and tear down a wall to have more space and light.
You see families that cannot have anything organized asking for help, when the only thing they need is a proper furniture. I wonder what would be the look of all those places a month after the renovation.
Basically they have more than they can store, so in all the "afters" you see a lot less crap. Like the teenage girl's room. Her room had personality and junk, so they got rid of everything and turned it into some generic Barbie house. Don't talk to me about the guitar storage, it didn't make sense.
Anyway, it is a nice show to watch, maybe get a few ideas, and wonder all the time why are they doing what they do.
Hack My Home: Make Space for Family (2023)
Lazy family
This episode is not like the rest. Lazy family can't buy a proper desk on a very big house and makes their mother cook on a basement because they went vegan and cannot stand the smell of fried chicken. Does she eat fried chicken every day? Are fried potatoes shown in their food truck less smelly?
The renovation does not make sense. They come up with a table with two monitors in it, but they use laptops. It was easier to not have that.
The kitchen in the basement looked very nice, except for the foldable table. It made more sense to have a table on a side, because it still looked small, and it actually took a lot of space.
Then, they seem to have forgotten the desk in the kid's room. If they put it, the didn't show it. Now it looks like a hotel room. In fact, with the kitchen and the room, I bet the vegans will kick them out and airbnb the basement...
Mulligan (2023)
Not good.
This is like Independence Day meets Idiocracy.
I started watching it, and halfway through the first episode I had to quit. I went on to see old Malcom in the Middle episodes so I could laugh.
I know Mulligan had jokes, they are pretty obvious. But they're awful. I laughed only once. For the rest, I was only able to acknowledge the jokes.
I feel bad for not completing the episode, I wanted to give it a chance, maybe it is not comedy and I am not understanding it?
Anyway, I didn't like it, but it's not that I don't get the jokes, they're there, they're just not funny. The main character is annoying right from the start, including his voice, and the rest add nothing.
La casa de papel: ¿Crees en la reencarnación? (2021)
They're getting more stupid.
Of course this didn't make any sense from the very beginning, but now it's just like they're getting dumber and dumber.
It is very hard to follow, I just want it to end and there are still 8 more episodes...
The Last of Us: Part II (2020)
Excellent game.
This is an excellent game. I do not understand the bad reviews, looks like people cannot handle endings that are not happy.
Things Heard & Seen (2021)
Good wins?
How can good have won when Catherine died, husband doesn't respond for his crime, and a daughter is left orfaned and with some homophobic grandfather as her carer?
Another Life: Across the Universe (2019)
Awful
What was this supposed to be? One decision from the captain and they start a mutiny?
All characters are annoying, I was not able to finish the episode.
Sentinelle (2021)
Jane Wick
Some things that happen on this movie just don't make any sense. She steals a gun from the armory and nothing happens? Then goes back and steals more?
How did she break into the house in Paris? How did she go to Dubai and then came back?
So this is like science fiction, you have to just believe.
The Girl on the Train (2021)
Terrible acting.
I couldn't stand the acting, so I had to quit before the half.
Age of Samurai: Battle for Japan: Seizing Power (2021)
Not bad, seems well done
But it needs less "this is the most decisive battle in the history of Japan".
Also, less british and american historians, and more japanese historians.
These historians could not pronounce japanese, so it makes me wonder where did they get their knowledge from, by reading books written in english about Japanese History, or did they actually investigate?
And I may be wrong, but it looks like there was more english talking so americans won't have to read.
Malcolm & Marie (2021)
Half good, half boring.
It was good at first, then started to be boring, and one can only think what would be the next fight about.
Also, it seems to be filmed in colour, then a cheap black and white filter was added, so the light feels odd all the time.
Rojo (2018)
Boring and does not make sense.
I started watching this movie with the hopes that it would be somewhat good, but I was quickly disappointed. Like an argentine movie form the 70s, it is filled with lots of stuff that does not make sense to the main plot, or maybe that was the idea.
The scene with the magician dumbs down the situation with the people being kidnapped during a democratic government, so it is like taking the viewer by an idiot.
The dancing scenes do not add anything to the plot.
Then there were some errors, like a house with a split A/C (the medic's house), it is like they didn't care to find a proper 70s house. And I have my doubts about anyone having an A/C in a house in 1975 in Argentina.
Yeah, this was an awful movie, I don't even know why I am rating it with a 4.
Frontier (2016)
Makes no sense
After season 1, nothing makes sense.
It is like each episode was supposed to have a length of 90 minutes, and in order to make it 45, a lot of stuff was chopped. Some things happen between takes, it seems, and you have to figure out why.
Then, season 3 comes and you can see how little the writers cared. Main characters cannot be killed, and they are able to kill lots of redcoats without being touched.
And it has a very silly ending. VERY.
3%: Capítulo 07: Sol (2020)
Not as bad as GoT
This episode was very weird and few things made sense.
Half of it was about nothing, and the other half was about people going to do something, and then nothing.
Good luck with letting everyone talk, the meetings will be neverending.
American Assassin (2017)
Nothing makes sense.
Just when you watch the initial scene you know this is going to be bad.
Terrorists in bathing suits.
Dark: Das Paradies (2020)
A beautiful voyage.
There are many questions unanswered, and an ultra complicated plot, but the ending is satisfying. Sad, but excellent.
Game of Thrones: The Iron Throne (2019)
This is what happens when writers think they have an audience of fanboys.
They thought they could write anything and get away with it. But no, this is as awful as it could get. It did not make any sense. This episode cannot be more boring or idiotic. It is an insult to all the time invested in following these series.
Playmobil: The Movie (2019)
Enjoyable movie.
Those who played with these toys during their childhood will enjoy this movie.
Of course it is one big commercial, everything is today, it is a great commercial for one of the best toys that ever existed, like The Lego Movie is. Even The Avenger movies are commercials for their comics and toys.
Anyway, it is a fun movie, the voices are good and there is action all the time.
