The War (1994)
A BEAUTIFUL MOVIE MORE WORTHY OF ATTENTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The War starring Kevin Kostner, Elijah Wood, and Mare Winningham was released in 1994. The film was fantastic and all the actors in the film were magnificent!! The acting by all involved was great. Especially that of Kevin Kostner and Eljah Wood. Both of which were worthy of Academy Awards, but unfortunately were not nominated. The film holds many valuable life lessons/morals. The movie is one that catches hold of you from the beginning and doesn't let up until the end. Yet, leaving you with a feeling that is almost unbelievable!!!!! The purpose of this film is to make us all think, and what more can anyone ask of a movie? I have seen this film many times and I enjoy it each and every time I see it. This movie is DRAMA at it's best with a bit of humor thrown in as it goes along. I must also mention that this is a very powerful and emotion-filled movie. I recommend that you pay close attention to detail if you hope to have a "complete" impact from this film!! This is a beautiful movie that all should see. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. By renting or buying this movie, you will bring a bit of joy to your own life.....so see it at all costs!!! You won't regret that decision!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Cure (1995)
THE MOST TOUCHING MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF FILM!!!!
THE CURE is a classic in it's own right. Highly sentimental and very sad, THE CURE is the ultimate drama. It hooks it's viewer from the get-go and it doesn't let you off the hook until the finale. Even after the film is over, you will have a good recollection of this film. It is the story of friendship, love, and the beauty of being alive. This film was released in 1995, and since then, I have seen it many times. It's as if it gets sadder each and every time I see it!!! Highly enjoyable and entertaining is this movie and worthy of being in the record books as "the saddest movie of all time." I must mention that this is drama at it's best. It's meant to tug at your heart and help you to realize how special life is and how special love is!! I love this movie and once you see it, you will feel the same way also!!
Blood Beach (1980)
A UNIQUE HORROR FILM!!!!!
This movie has an interesting story and you're not likely to predict what
it
is that is taking the lives of the characters in the film. The story takes
place on a beach and when people begin to disappear it haves you wondering
what it is. It will, however, keep you interested and the ending is not
half
bad either. To say that this is the best SCARY movie would be incorrect,
however to say that it is the most unique is quite true. I really enjoyed
this movie and I can honestly say that it had it's own unique style. See it
if you haven't and if you can find it. It is a rare one and they don't make
horror films like this anymore!!! This was a suspenseful film that caught
me
off guard on a few occasions and I hope I never have to experience that
kind
of terror. Released in 1980 to movie theatres and to video in 1982, this
movie had a strange story, but a good story as well!!!

Jeepers Creepers (2001)
AN OLD STYLE HORROR FILM
I saw this movie and I was really impressed. For the most part, the horror movies of today aren't even scary because they all rely too much on special effects. This movie was very original and it kept my interest the whole movie long. As with many horror movies, it left me with a need for a sequel. I hope there is a sequel and I hope it doesn't take 23 years before I get to see one(if you watch the movie you'll know why I'm saying this.) It was definetely worth the watch and even though the actors were unknown to me, they were quite good. Gina Philips is the beautiful and stunning actress who portrays Trish in the movie and Justin Long is great as her brother Darry. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who hasn't seen it and I await the release of this movie to DVD. We need more of the old style SCARY movies as opposed to the more fluent special effects ridden horror films of today. This is a great film with lots of suspense. My local newspaper critic gave this movie half a star. However, coming from idiots that praise movies such as Titantic- I'll judge for myself. If they don't like it, then there's a great possibility that I will. We need more movies like this one because everyone needs a good scare!!!
Down to Earth (1984)
A GREAT PROGRAM THAT FEW PEOPLE SEEM TO REMEMBER
I remember this program on TBS in the 80's. Few of my friends knew of it. It was a program that was quite unique and quite good in my estimation. Although I was a child and scarcely remember it, it would be rather nice to see it again. All I remembered of it was that it pertained to an angel sent "down to earth" to a family in the 1980's.I also remembered the husband from Bewitched as a main character. I enjoyed the show back then and probably still would now. It's just a shame that more people haven't seen it. WHAT A LOSS!! It was a GREAT program!!
