Franco: ese hombre (1964)
Franco for Peace Nobel Adward Campaign now!!
I can write at all...I´m laughing yet!! After seeing this movie... why not a Peace Nobel Adward for Dictator Franco??? Ha, Ha, Ha... It could be ex-aequo with Saddam Hussein!! They were both good people according to their regimes!! Ha, Ha, Ha!!
Raza (1942)
One of the worst screenplays in history
Have you ever seen a Commmunist movie? Have you ever seen a Nazi movie? If you say "yes" for one of this questions, then you know what you will watch if you rent or buy "RAZA". The movie was directed by the impersonal director of the Franco´s fascist and dictatorial regime Sainz de Heredia, who was cousin of one of the most important ideological men of the only legal party in those times: Jose Antonio Primo de Rivera. The movie is glorify tale about military men against democratic men in Spanish Civil War times. If you don´t know the result of that war: Franco won the war with Hitler´s help, and wrote this movie in 1940 when he was Dictator in chief in Spain. The movie is so bad, that you laugh a lot in some scenes: The Father of the protagonists speaking about death in battlefield: "It´s a honor!! It´s wonderful die for your country!!". The Father, later, dies fighting against United States of America... and dies with a big smile in his face. All a movie of fascist glorification: The democratics are portrayed like bad people, that kill the priests, and steals the bread...
I say you once more time... DON´T SEE THIS BAD MOVIE!!! YOU COULD BECAME A NAZI AFTER THAT... OR DIE OF LAUGHING ATTACK!!
Tuno negro (2001)
The worst horror movie you can see
When you take seat, at the cinema... you expect to spent a well time. But when the movie in is "Tuno Negro", you are going to see an "Scream"-bad-copy that will make you remove in that seat I said. All the movie is an Scream new version. But with terrible spanish actors (Maribel Verdú is risible, and Jorge Sanz is too old for the role, and university student... the worst are Fele Martinez... too serious for not a serious movie, and Silke: too bad in general, like if she couldn´t speak naturally). Oh! The Soundtrack, if you like the bad heavy metal, well that´s your music. A terrible movie for a terrible summer in cinemas. That´s a 1. That´s completely awful.
Silencio roto (2001)
A Good film from a good director.
I recently noted that one of the most forgotten men groups in the history about the terrible spanish civil war (1936-1939) are the "maquis". They were the fighters for freedom that resist in the mountains after the General Franco´s victory. They fought till nearly 1950, in several fast hits... they only wanted the liberty for the spanish people, then in the hands of the fascist ideology. But in more than 25 years of pacific democracy and progress, and a lot of movies about that war... very poor was the number of them that spoke about "maquis". Montxo Armendáriz, director of the 1998 Best Foreign Language Academy Award nominee "Secrets from the heart" has done it. It is a truly movie. With very good performances, specially Mercedes Sampietro and Lucía Jimenez, and a good screenplay he has done a spectacular movie for the heart. For the remenbrances. For the people who didn´t know nothing about this phenomenon, and for those that lived it... A song to the liberty... not only a movie.
