An American in Paris: The Musical (2018)
One of the best musicals I've seen!
Even though this is not the original musical movie, it's still a very good adaptation. (I hope that IMDb.com is talking about the original broadway cast). Anyway, the music is great, the set is pretty cool, the costumes are dapper and elegant ( especially Lise's shoes), but the story is where it's at. I love the story for this musical. How it shows us that out of the darkness of the world (in this case ww2),we'll find the light through laughter, music, companionship, and yes even love. I also like this one part in the play where milo Davenport ( the blonde American woman) and henri ( the dapper French man) are willing to let go of jerry and lise after finding out that they do not love them. In that moment milo and henri realize that when you truly, deeply, love someone, that you have to be willing to let go of them for good if you want them to be happy. I also love the parts where Lise and jerry talk and interact and get to know each other, and eventually fall in love. This isn't the Gene Kelly version
But it's still a very good musical and I love how beautiful and true everything is. All I can say is who can ask for anything more?
Star Trek: Lower Decks (2020)
It's not that bad!
Sweet zombie Jesus! Why does everyone keep making a huge fuss over this show! I know it's not rick and mortuary or final space! And it's not nearly as artistically creative as love, death, and robots, but give these people some credit. This show isn't the best, but it isn't the worst. I could of a lot of other shoes that are way worse. I'll admit some of it isn't the greatest (that glory goes to Hazbin hotel right now) but it doesn't make me wanna gouge my eyes out with my thumbs. Not the best, but also not the worst.
Happy Family (2017)
It's not good, but definitely not too bad
I think I've seen much worse then this. I could compare this to movies like "Norm of the north" and "Foodfight!" It's actually not to terrible. Besides the boring character of frank, and rude sarcastic humor from fay, I really think Emma is an intriguing character. And I know the lip syncing isn't all that good and it's trash compared to other great classics, but for me it's kinda of ok. I don't hate it, but I don't necessarily love it. To me it's just ok.
P.S. I like the weird love side plot with Emma and Dracula.
