The Wickedest Witch (1989)
GREAT, WONDERFUL, LOVED IT!!
I watched this with my son when he was about 5 years old. We laughed and laughed. The message was was very positive and very subtle. The main characters (Sammy and the little boy) were so sweet together. If I remember correctly there is a little twist at the end when they play the game. My son is now 20. I would love to see this again. It is my understanding it only ran once, but it should be played every Halloween because it was so sweet, extremely funny and very well done. I have checked www.IMDb.com periodically to see if this movie would ever be listed and I was thrilled to find it here. If it were available on DVD or tape, I would buy it in a heart beat! Please give us an encore!
What a Girl Wants (2003)
Enjoyable fluff!
Even though this is not HEAVY, HEAVY drama it is still a delightful movie. Amanda was the typical American teen and the views of London were magnificent. Of course, it doesn't hurt having Colin Firth as the Dad. I am a big fan of Colin Firth's so the movie could have been 2 hours of him reading the telephone book and that would be okay by me.
All in all I would give it 7 out of 10.
Dreamcatcher (2003)
What the hell was this?
This is the most stupid movie that I've ever seen. After seeing those nasty images, I should have left the theater and ask for a refund, full-up. I apologize to Stephen King. I think he's embarrassed by the whole movie itself. If you think this movie is fantastic and a great horror movie, somebody must of lied to you. In conclusion, AVOID THIS MOVIE! -2/10
Bridget Jones's Diary (2001)
I ADORED THIS MOVIE!!
Renee Zellweger brought Bridget Jones to life for me. The expresssions on her face speak volumes as to what the character is feeling. Of course, Colin Firth is the perfect Mr. Darcy whether in "Pride and Prejudice" or "Bridget Jones". As the movie goes along, you discover that Mark and Bridget have a lot more in common than first thought. What can I say about Hugh Grant - wonderful just does seem enough. I have seen this movie over and over and over and can hardly wait for it to come out for home release. I only wish I could rate it more than a 10!
